If you log a DNF and then come back a few weeks later and find it, do you post a new log and say you have "found it" or do you edit your DNF log?

I am using the latest version of the geocaching app for the iphone and i have been completing the multicache GC2NAXD. The clues to finding the coordinates for the final stage, where the cache is, are written in each waypoint description. Is there a way to show this waypoint information on the iphone app? I could only see it when i returned home and used the internet. I can see the waypoints on the maps when you navigate to them but i can not see a way of finding the information they hold.
