Hi folks. I'm wanting to test a few GPX reader programs on my new PocketPC. Unfortunately I let my membership lapse so I can't get any GPX files until my premium membership status is updated. That will take a day or two so is there anybody out there who would be kind enough to host a GPX file with some caches in it so I can test in the mean time?? They can be anywhere in the world, I just want something I can test with. Cheers, TS.

Better change it from "Geocachers of the world" to "Geocachers that have a five-digit postcode" It doesn't allow you to enter four-digit ones which makes it useless for us people not in the US. [in case people are wondering, a postcode is what you Americans call a "zipcode"]

I just don't understand the interest in these coins myself. I know they can be used like travel bug in that they are trackable, but beyond that I don't follow it. [/end thread hijack] If there is even HALF the interest in these coins as there are in the US or UK ones then you be getting many orders I'm sure!!!

Not everyone feels the need or or even feels comfortable carrying a gun. From the things you have said in this thread (and your avatar too!!) you seem to be quite the gun fanatic.

There is a travel bug hotel here in Brisbane, Australia that is visible from the cache-owner's front verandah/porch. What better way to keep an eye on the cache!!!??

Provided there isn't a PIN on the SIM card to stop people doing exactly what you are suggesting.

What program do you use for viewing the ebooks with GSVNoFixedAbode?

I believe my Palm II has 2 MB of RAM, so that just wouldn't cut it. The reason I was trying to stick with the Palm II is that I don't want to fork out upwards of AU$140 on a PDA for stuff I won't use. I only want it to carry cache details around with me. I won't be using it for any of the phone number/diary/etc functions. Thanks for the input peoples.

I'm interested in going paperless so I can attempt a cache in any area I happen to be in without having printed the cache page first. I've got an old (ancient) Palm II here and thought I might be able to use it instead of buying another one. Does anyone know of any program that will run on it that will let me read ebooks etc? Any of the programs I have looked at will only run on a Palm III and up.
