I will post the die art as soon as I get it. But for now, here's the images created and sent to the mint: Obverse: The obverse will be Nickel and Gold. This should create a very nice coin face. The coin will have an epoxy coating. The year will be on the Reverse, not as pictured here. Reverse: The coin will be numbered, but not trackable. The image on the reverse will be changed every year.

The Indiana Geocoin is now ready for ordering. The coin is being produced by Aaron Charles Productions (coinsandpins). I am waiting on the die art, but will post the images we created for the coin. What was the problem? Was it the 2 to 1 request for the Germany Coins? Those coins are VERY expensive- $11 each and need easy to get. I think the 2-to-1 request is reasonable. I had three, and sent one to a fellow cacher in return for a coin he had sent me. He then sent me one of his personal coins because he didn't think the previous trade was even.

I was contacted by a gentleman in the Indianapolis area who bought a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS, and is having trouble learning how to use it. Smokey & the teacher and XRN95 are on the list. There are two open questions that are being worked on. I should be seeing the die art in the next few days, and expect an answer on a payment question in a day or two.

Daphne, Both Rupert2 and I were attempting to render pictures of bridges into something usable. The Narrows Bridge happened to be the image that looked best.

Thanks and good question. We've been trading emails with a company and we're looking at four weeks from ordering to delivery. It would take a couple of more weeks if we were to request a preproduction coin. Right now, I think we should give people two weeks to order, so we're looking at having coins early to mid-July. Unless something major changes, I expect price to be $4/coin, plus shipping. There will be a thread opened up for orders in the next couple of days in the Travel Bug section. I want to make sure we have a fairly accurate count on the number of coins, because we will not be able to increase the order once production starts (although we can reorder). Right now, if everyone pays for the coins they have committed to here, an order of 500 would sellout.

Okay, I'll give it a shot. Since you are passing through the area, check out the Indiana Sand Dunes. The state park has a few caches as well. You can detour off 90 or 94, and travel Hwy 20, which parallels I-94, plucking some caches along the way.
