  1. They should be there Monday or Tuesday latest. I got them out late Friday, and the Postage Machine estimated two to three days. I hope they come tomorrow. It's Wednesday and still no sign of the coins. Darn Postal Service. I am now a week after the mailing date and still no coins. I am very much afraid that they have disappeared. OK, so what do I do now? I still have no coins and I was really looking forward to receiving them. Do I still hold out hope that they will come in the mail or do I allow my creeping doubt to win? I'm surprised that 1) yours haven't shown up, and 2) Smokey's just arrived. You guys are a lot closer to me than the folks on the coasts, and they got their coins in 2-4 days. That's the same time quoted for your coins. If your coins aren't there by Monday, PM or email me and I'll send out two more insured. I'm not about to let the Post Office ruin my perfect record!
  2. Good Idea. Closing (until we're ready for '06).
  3. Indiana is a 1 5/8" coin. Some companies don't do that size- they do a 1 1/2". The oversized coin are different- like Avroair's 1" coin.
  4. I used coinsandpins for the Indiana coin. This coin is a little pricier than the Indiana, but it is trackable via Groundspeak- that adds a lot to the cost, and the larger the coin, the more they run. Anyone that has an Indiana or Idaho sees the great work they do! I'll be ordering a few myself.
  5. They should be there Monday or Tuesday latest. I got them out late Friday, and the Postage Machine estimated two to three days.
  6. If you don't see them Monday please let me know. They were sent out on the 13th. Sometimes mail to the WC from here can take upto a week.
  7. UPDATE 'cause I need it! All orders are out the door (except for Smokey & the Teacher- had to find your new address, and a few one coin orders). For those waiting patiently on the list, I will be contacting you quickly.
  8. Indiana was made by Aaron Charles (coinsandpins.com). You'll be getting a good look at their work in a couple of days.
  9. Me Too As am I. UPDATE! Because you demanded it! I have been suffering from a bad reaction to an antibiotic most of the week. I did manage to get all orders of four and three out today. I also mailed out about half the orders of two. I will have all orders out by Tuesday latest.
  10. Thanks and happy birthday. Sorry for missing your email and post.
  11. UPDATE: If you ordered five coins, they are in the trusted hands of our postal service! I'll be packing up orders of four and three later today for mailing tomorrow. (Dang, I'v been busy with packing and other stuff that I missed out on a couple of prime trade opportunities. )
  12. Please give me a week to finish getting coins out, and us a couple of months to enjoy getting this done.
  13. LFD, I see you chose Aaron Charles to do your coins. I am VERY pleased with them. BTW, sent you an email.
  14. Don't thank you?? Please, you got the graphics oh so right! As far as the '06, let's wait a coupleof months to start thinking about the reverse graphic.
  15. I guess this rules out an event for coin distribution. Or does it? I guess it does. The good news is getting the coins early. The bad is the earliest we could get together is next weekend. Did you check the mail yet today? My original plan was to send out everything outside of Indiana, then announce the coins. The problem is its going to take a little time to get the smaller orders together- since I need to add some additional packing.
  16. Trading Indianas already???? UPDATE!!!! Aaron Charles Productions is fantastic! I was not expecting to see coins before NEXT Friday. The coins arrived Monday! That's under three weeks for final design edit, production and delivery. Unfortunately, we've had family in town since Sunday, and I am working against some tight deadlines at work, so I have had limited time to work on getting coins out. I have inspected the coins, and they look great! I think you will be pleased. If you ordered 8 or more coins, then your order is in the mail. That means half the coins (371) went in the mail as of yesterday. I will be making another big postal run Monday.
  17. UPDATE We are sold out! fluffy&itchy got the last coin. There are a couple o people that emailed me to asl if there were any left. I will go through those emails and contact them. I deposited checks and transferred money from paypal this weekend. o for those of you that sent checks and wondered why they hadn't cleared- that's why. Thanks for everyone's patience and support.
  18. UPDATE: Coins were ordered last Friday and are in production
  19. RWW makes excellent points about why coins can cost. A simple pressed coin can start about $2.50- 2.75. Some cachers are getting deep relief coins- 3D coins. The 3D coins can raise the cost of the dies as well as the coins. You start adding color, and you'll probably add epoxy coating. As far as cost going up in general, I don't think so. Also, there are plenty of coins that are event coins, or organization coins- small runs of a couple of hundred at most.
  20. I am willing to volunteer hosting such a gathering. Any particular location? Indianapolis would be ideal if there's just one event, but since it depends on Team Tecmage's attendance, the choice of location ultimately depends on them. (I toss up the idea of Lafayette as it isn't as far of a drive from Valparaiso, it's closer to the centre of the state, and it's where I live. ) I'll have a better idea of what's possible closer to the coins arriving here.
  21. UPDATE: I have the new die art, and it is clean. I'm placing the order Tuesday. I have money for 706 coins, and requests for 773. I will order 750. That's going to leave a few extras available. I have sent emails to Carleenp, Avroair, Stuck on WGS84, and Marmetion. I have money from Mr. Fantastic and Darby Gill. If your name isn't listed here, or you paid already, please contact me before sending money for an order.
  22. Add Aaron Charles Productions to the list coinsandpins.com. They have been good to work with.
