Poison Oak sucks. As I write this I'm scratching my legs. I got a bad case last weekend. I tried Zanfel with little success. I ended up going to the minor emergency clinic, getting a steroid shot, and oral steroids. With my insurance, the total cost of the doctor visit, the shot, and the prescription was cheaper than a 1-ounce tube of Zanfel ($44). The doctor was cheaper and faster.

I'm always looking for the "best" way to carry my stuff. What I've just started doing is putting everthing in a fly-fishing vest. It has a bazillion pockets--one for: Garmin Map60CS, cell phone, camera, multi-tool, batteries, cache goodies, pens, logbook, small flashlight, snacks, bandaids, water bottle in back, and when I get to the car, I just slip off the vest and put it in the trunk. Everything stays together and ready to go for the next cache/

I don't care how difficult the hides are, I just wish people would use the handy questionnaire on the site to catagorize their hides. I've been to some 1s (terrain) that you needed a bushhog to get to.
