Hi everyone. My wife has finally gotten interested in Geocaching!! Woo Hoo! We want to go to a place around here San Francisco Bay Area or Monterey, etc. That my little 2.5 year old daughter and us can enjoy and grab some caches while we're at it. I've seen the best places Geocaching, but I'm hoping you guys would know of some more. Thanks in advance! zoroe

Thanks everyone! zoroe heh... you don't need many tips. You've been hit by the fever, that's all it takes. Read the forums and experiment. Here's an incident you can probably relate to: I've been hiking all my life. As I was setting off on a cache hunt in Red Rocks Conservation area outside of Las Vegas, I saw a kid of about 6 about to leave the parking area with his parents. He looked up at me with a big smile and said, "I'm going on my first hike EVER!" And I thought, "Young Dude! I want to be YOU!" Feed the feeling!

This is the coolest thing EVAR!!! Seriously. It's a combination of the feeling I used to get as a kid playing hide and seek and half when I used to write graffiti and "blend-in" without looking like I was doing anything wrong. *Not that there's anything wrong with geocaching but today I retrieved a cache that was in the middle of a very crowded playground with tons of kids and parents around and I must have looked like a crazy person looking under every bench!!! Hahahaha) Anyways, I'm new, don't know what I'm doing really, but very excited to have found what I was looking for. If anyone has any good tips, etc, feel free to share I need all the info I can get! Later! [ zoroe ]
