  2. There are quite a few of the BN/PS version, but only 14 of the BN/PG version remaining! All orders are shipping with 24 hours this week and next. Remember, when you're checking the mail for your order that Landsharkz is shipping from Victoria, BC Canada, eh! Local pick up welcome of course.
  3. Wow, I just read about *this* thread in another thread....I didn't even know this thread existed. This must be the last post when all else fails, eh?
  4. On this page, at the botttom of the Geocoins column there is a link to retrieve almost any activation code: Retrieve an Activation Code. Try this before emailing Groundspeak. Also, does the coin imply anywhere that it IS trackable? It should say something like 'Track at geocaching.com' and have a 6 letter/number code.
  5. What about a southern hemisphere snow globe next year?! Hmmmm....
  6. Hmmm, that's pretty murky looking water. I'm thinking that's an island or peninsula in a river and not an ocean landmass. Then again, the mouth of the mighty Fraser is a murky mess .
  7. Landsharkz are pleased to present their 2010 Snow Globe Geocoin! This trackable geocoin with a custom icon is available in two two-tone finishes - black nickel/polished gold both sides and black nickel/polished nickel both sides. The coin is 2" (50mm) tall and 42mm wide. The magical combination of glittery snow in the clear epoxy makes this snow globe look like it's just been gently shaken! The base is a combination of polished filigree and recessed black nickel to look like an old Victorian snow globe base. The front features an old country church and cottage scene. The back of this coin expresses a fond Christmas sentiment: 'Warm lights and a warm hearth, Time with friends, Makes a warm heart' Have a wonderful Christmas You can find this coin here: 2010 Trackable Snow Globe Geocoin We also produced a matching non-trackable coinament - to continue to tradition started in 2007 and continued in 2008. You will find it from the 'Christmas' link on our sidebar.
  8. That's going on the must-do list for sure - we love the carousel art!
  9. Roughly 90 minutes but beware this is scheduled at the end of the Stampede so expect delays at the airport until you can get on the road. Off all the Canadian airports we've had the pleasure of visiting, I'd have to say that the Calgary International Airport is our all time favourite. There is art everywhere... on the walls, hanging from the ceiling, in the floor even on the baggage carousels! There are real restaurants where you can sit and have a leisurely meal, drink or snack with friends and the shops are worth browsing too. Enjoy your delay if you have one and if not, try to arrive back a bit early so you can enjoy the airport art and culture for a bit before leaving.
  10. The Town of Three Hills, Alberta extends a warm, small town invitation to come and experience the Canadian Badlands at their best – at the Best of the BAD Mega Event July 16, 2011! Explore an all-new GPS Adventure Maze, meet Signal and marvel at the baddest collection of dinosaur bones in the world. Bring the family, bring the dog, bring your sense of adventure… the Badlands is where it’s happening next summer! Be sure to visit the Best of the Bad GC.com listing where you can log your RSVP or ‘will attend’ and check out their website at Best of the Bad.ca
  11. I see you are in Alberta, Canada! If you would like to keep it simple, put it in a #000 yellow bubble mailer, stick on a $1.22 stamp and send it to us. We'll see that it's moving again quickly and run it through LSHQ at the same time. Our address is here: Landsharkz contact details just add the postal code of V8Z 2V3.
  12. We ship thousands of coins from Canada around the world each year and there is absolutely NO issue at all. We have occasionally taken shipments with us to ship from the US if we were travelling south and the same explanation applies. I have shipped from the US to overseas with the return address being Canada! You will need to put on a customs decal, tag or sticker if it's leaving your country. On it write the item description as 'play token', value as ~$4/coin and tick the reason for shipping as either 'gift' or 'commercial sample'. Add the date and your signature if required. You don't need to deal with 'importing' because you are 'exporting' and at this dollar value it's a mute point.
  13. It was time for a new personal coin - sometimes you just gotta kick back and relax! This personal coin shows Mr and Mrs Landsharkz having some downtime... just the way they like it! This TRACKABLE geocoin with a custom icon is created in Black Nickel, it is 42mm Wide, 3.0mm thick and uses 12 colours on each side. There is recessed detail under the translucent water that isn't clearly visible in this photo but will pop out when you hold this coin in your hands. This coin is Trackable at Geocaching.com with Mr. LS smiling back at you for the Custom Icon. At the moment there is one version - available at Landsharkz.ca! for $10.50 CAD. We hope you like it!
  14. Is that the coin with Wyatt in his doghouse?
  15. Wow, this sounds so unique ... I think we really missed out on a great adventure .
  16. Caching from BC to PEI and parts in between!
  17. GC14F Wow, that's a long way from BC - but not so far from Moose Jaw where eldest son is now posted . We'll keep an eye on this thread.
  18. You could go on the assumption that they don't perhaps know how to adopt out a coin and send them the link that they need to use and explain that for this adoption to happen, they need to start by following the instructions at this link. http://www.geocaching.com/adopt/
  19. Where is this located on the site please? 14139: Activation Code Retrieval Thanks! Helen
  20. Move on folks, nothing to read here . Pretend this thread didn't happen . Eartha, we got your back .
