Hi dtrebilc. Indeed while reviewing WMs in the same category you get the message if there is already one in a beam of a few hundred meters. Maybe the reviewer didn't notice it. One time that can happen, but twice must be noticeable during reviewing. I always review with Google Earth and the Waymarking KML. That is a very helpfull tool. I do not know these bug, I will try it tomorrow. Only to test of course Grtz John.

Update: I contact the waymarker who posted them and ask him NOT to remove them so you can look at this problem.

GREAT, I will post it in Military Installations too. When I was on vacation in RLP last month. I stood on top of the Bismarck tower in Landstuhl, speaking a German. He often looks with his binoculars at Airbase Ramstein and told me that there will be huge upgrades in the coming months. Lots of big hangars for more planes and even hospitals. Surfing on Waymarking I found 1 waymark twice posted in the same category. I thought it was protected to post it in the same category with the same name and coordinats. It happens me a few times, making a bunch of WMs for 1 category and it never worked for me. And I didn't contact the waymarker yet who accidentally posted them so a developer can look if its a BUG. Hi to all. Behind the Airport Hahn in Germany I have found an Abandoned Air Force Site, in the past known as Hahn Air Base, but it was not a radar site so it didn't fit in that category. I can't open the tab Past Activity in my category ANWB Paddenstoelen, it only opens the ERROR page. Tried it with different browsers but only errors. In my other categories it works perfect. Also tried to write a message in the error page but its wierd typing there. Can some developer from Groundspeak who reads this look at this problem please. Thx John.

I have searched in the forum but I can't find any discussion about the category UNESCO http://www.Waymarking.com/groups/details.aspx?f=1&guid=4e1cec54-c0a5-4795-9874-4b8b64f1e8ad It shows open enrollment: ON, and also "Unesco has been denied by the Waymarking community." Is realy nobody interested in such a very nice category or was there some other reason to decline it? Thx & grtz John.

Because many of our government cutbacks are also many search and rescue teams off. The Dutch Lifeboats and rescue stations are still difficult today because of the money. Ambulance rescue teams and firefighter rescue teams have shrunk to today. The rule is now in the Netherlands: The Dutch ambulance must be within 15 minutes after the report to the patient. That's not going to work. If I get a heart attack is the nearest 25 minutes. Bye bye. In 2013 I set up the category AED Defibrillators http://www.Waymarking.com/groups/details.aspx?f=1&guid=13f3db51-f86e-4e77-afd7-29e89908700f and discussed in the forum. Many bad comments about it. Maybe I'll start it again if you think it is a good idea. Thereby more and more AED Defibrillators on the facades of houses and there are even signs to point the way to that place . In 2013 I started E-Bike Charging stations and has bad comments too but time has changed and in 2015 it coast me 3 days to get it accept as a category on Waymarking. New Waymarkers new ideas. If you like that idea of AED Defibrillators and wanna be an Officer, the enrollment is open again Grtz John.

The search from here function is gone for a several years now. In the early days we used Google Earth and its works perfect. Probably there was to much traffic and Groundspeak must pay for it. So they choose Mapquest and after that the button wasn't working anymore. There was a big issue about that in the forum at that time. And the Waymarking Site never get an update so the button will be there for ever and ever and ever. But you can search easy if you go to a Waymark nearby and use the link "Nearest Waymarks". A bigger problem is that more and more icons are missing for categories. See line 54 and 55 in the category grid. Tante.Hossi makes a comment on it to the Admin on febr 12 and nobody is giving a reaction to solf it.

Yes you are right. Thx. That would be a GR8 idea. I´am glad to hear it from a good Waymarker. Why didn´t we think about it earlier. I will ask all Leaders and Officers to delete there Categories and transport info and pics to Wikipedia. Wikipedia needs pics and inportent info that are posted on Waymarking. Because they haven´t. Its easier to Waymark one category named `Wikipedia` on Waymarking. Back from 1088 to 1 categories. That will make it much easier for all to post a Waymark. And we can enthuse more new people for Waymarking. Click, upload pic and go. All 648321 waymarks worldwide in one nice category this would be great man. NO We changed the name and start a new topic. As a good (Waymarking) friend and good Officer relationship with Axel-F i wanna make my opinion about this question. We have last week a pretty discussion about internet pics on Waymarking in one of our daily (Waymarking) mail conversations and a idea about Waymarking and also to setup our new group Dutch Municipal and Provincial Heritage. Axel-F would like to see internet/Google Earth pics in postings. He is good. But!! We setup a new category and his idea was to put the following lines in the posting rules: If we make these posting rules in our new category: Dutch Municipal and Provincial Heritage what would happen in the comments in the Forum Topic or Peer Review ? THIS IS GLOBAL ! But what's is the problem with NONE global Waymarks ? If I can make a person intrested for Waymarking in my town or province or country. And I do !!!!! They see that there is also a nice game called Geocaching on Groundspeak, maybe they like that too. Hoppa. Another paid Memeber for Groundspeak. They are Happy We are Happy. Another paid Member on Geocaching helps to investing in the Waymarking server. Why invest in Global Waymarks while you can invest in people (read money, and money helps us on Waymarking)in your own street to have a nice weekend of Waymarking. If we accept only Global ones in a Peer Review we can't make new people enthusiastic for Groundspeak if there are none not global ones. Ouch Sorry to read the line. Because this reaction has nothing to do with this topic Dutch Municipal and Provincial Heritage and it makes me and I still want to post a comment on this. We worked so hard to make Dutch people enthusiastic for Waymarking the last year. Then came the big server crash mid 2015 and all our work was gone. We invest again into contact people, plz come back because its fun to Waymark, but many didn't. End 2015 we gave (not for sale and unique) geocache coins away when e.g. was reached a Dutch milestone on Waymarking. See http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=336418 We have almost every day contact by e-mail, Officers and NONE Officers, once a month a Skype evening with some Officers. Not for fun but about ideas, problems etc only about for Waymarking. OK we laugh to. Do not feel sorry for us but our fight goes on for Waymarking. Now about Dutch Municipal and Provincial Heritage. Like I already say before we have NO Heritage markers in The Netherlands. If we have them it was so easy to set up this category. If we named it Dutch Historical Markers there was NO PROBLEM for a Peer Review and was accepted in the way Waymarking works. National like Rijksmonumenten is by the Goverment protected for national and international value. National is not coorperating with Municipal, in NO way. See Municipal as Dutch Heritage Markers. Municipal is only to protect the Municipal value because the Goverment see this as none national and international value. If there was no Municipal protection most Dutch Heritage was demolished and rebuilt in 20th century style. France has for example the same 2 different categories on Waymarking: Histoires de France (French historical markers = same as Dutch Municipal Monuments. (BUT WE HAVE NO MARKERS LIKE THE FRENCH, WE HAVE MUNICIPAL LITTLE SHIELDS) Monuments Historiques Français = same as Dutch National Monument = Rijksmonumenten. Now something about Provincial: 2 of the 12 Province in The Netherlands has Provincial protection. WHY ? It is far too expensive for a municipality to protect some Heritage. So two ask the province to help for ant protection. Two provinces have said yes to help. (Drenthe & Noord-Holland) One (Limburg) has to help but public told NOT to stabbing in any money or help. Nine provinces say nothing because it costs too much money and will never commit a Provincial monument. Why has Drenthe a perfect Website and Noord- Holland a hidden pdf ? Drenthe is a Province with the most Tourist every Year. Because of the most National Parks, Forest, Bike trails, Campsites etc etc etc. (I live in a rich Province ) To further attract tourists to Drenthe invest Drenthe in a wonderful website. (Come an visit Drenthe it's wonderfull here. No kidding and you find the most Waymarks) Noord-Holland attract tourists in a Hidden pdf and a website without mentioning were you can find a Provincial Heritage. Maybe we must change the name of the category. But with this category we protect ourself and the Dutch Heritage for any other upcoming It can not be combined with Rijksmonumenten because it is totally different. It's Global Waymarkers and realy not only Europe. OK we have 2000+ in The Netherlands. Look in my (NOT GLOBAL) category Rijksmonumenten how many international Waymarkers has get an icon for it for posting a Dutch National Monument. One of the Officers say's why would I be an Officer in your group, I have never seen one in my Country. Now she's an Officer and working on it she sees them. If you never have an idea about them, we wake you up and you see them on open or hidden places. Wait and see, mark my words or I will eat up my hat ( 28T4CG ), tomorrow you see one. Grtz John.
