I have fallen for Geocoins straight up. I only wish I new about it in the begining. I love many of the coins out their, I think more hand crafted individually designed would be nice and signed by the artist. I have seen a few out their. I love art all together and I believe this is a great way to express art in a whole. My dad is an artist mostly sculpture, that's what I mean by hand crafted. I have asked him to design me a coin. If he could only find the time. i can get so excited I sometimes forget to be patient. love the geocoin revolution. period.

Scarlett_Ohara and I love geocaching, but most importantly so does my daughter now. I just got her a gift card. I have only been geocaching since 1-11-11 after seeing and episode of law and order on jan 1 and immedietly got hooked. I am planning my first vacation in ten years and going on a road trip through texas. My daughter is going with and it's geocaching all hte way. Nice to meet everyone.

I only have aquired a few geocoins, I aquired a piratemap geocoin but gave it as a gift to someone that held a local event. I am looking to find another one. The one I had was gold with like a red glaze on it. If anyone has one they are willing to sell or trade please contact me. thanks. I had a blast, being I am so new at this it gave me a way to look up and learn some and have sooooooooooooooo much more to learn Also I relized by trying to look up info on geocoins there isn't a centralized website of history. what coins wre made what year, hom many, what metals, ect.. i don't know if it's possible but for new people like myself it would be an amazing learning tool. Thanks again i had fun trying.

December 2007 - Winter Caching In The Hemispheres gold last guss of day, and since i am so new at this I will prob go back to stop lurking cointest because This is really hard, too bad there isn't a web page that gives more information on the history of coins made each year and how they were minted or at least how many metals ect..
