I've just started but what drew me in, was a goal when out out hiking and exploring. Since I want to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors, geocaching is bringing me places I never would have thought of. The thrill of the find is very rewarding.

hubby and I decided to give geocaching a try. we like to hike and can't think of a better way to get out of the house and explore. he has a Garmin Etrex and we tried it out on a cache that is only 10 min walk from our house ... woohoo!! we found it!! but do not recommend that your first cache be in the middle of winter, at night, and a nano cache at that ... lol.
