Have you tried printing your Topo maps with Basecamp? I believe support for printing is quite a bit better with Basecamp. It is a free download from Garmin.com. On a related note; if you have a GPS with Topo maps, why do you need printed maps?

Try enabling Spanner Mode. It is under Setup -> System -> Interface -> Garmin Spanner

What would a correct image look like? If the unit is stationary and pressure drop is steady, a straight line is what I would anticipate seeing. I will leave the unit off this weekend to record pressure.

It works fine on my unit. I have it running all the time. If your unit flashes the screen every 15 minutes when powered off, it is recording the pressure. Look at the below screen shot, it is from this morning when I was still asleep. As you can see, the pressure was dropping yesterday (we had a storm move through last night) and is on the rise today. The steep drop is when I drove home with the unit powered on.
