  1. Unless I'm missing something, that log was made almost 2 weeks ago, so I don't have a clue what you're trying to hint at.
  2. im confused. If you are talking about an event cache, then you would log it as "will attend". Other than that, there are no other types of "plan to attend" logs that you can do. GB2B
  3. good idea, I was going to bring my GPSr to work today, but decided not to. Just look at what happens when you don't. I'll look up coords and post them tomorrow.
  4. Possibly, but I've never seen a benchmark like this. I thought that most benchmarks had some sort of disc over them if they were made like this. I checked and it doesnt show up in the NGS database...
  5. I saw this on the sidewalk on the way to work this morning... http://www.flickr.com/photos/8718583@N02/533212793 The engraving on it says "BM" at the top, and on the bottom are the numbers 639.551. The only thing that made me think that this might be a benchmark is the BM engraved on the washer. Ideas?
  6. I most definately am not an expert at this kind of thing, but looking at the pics you put up, it seems to me that the railway could have been marking a property line as they prepared to put the tracks through here so that they wouldn't have to worry about legal disputes over land ownership. However, it doesnt make sense to me that there was only the one... Just my 2 cents. GB2B
