  1. Forgot to answer this one. It's just the pressure from the sides and the rubber lining.
  2. It really holds well. I mounted it on the bike with a couple of zip-ties and it's not going anywhere. One reason why it stays in so well is the rubberized grip on the explorist GPSr.
  3. Long-time cacher, first-time poster. I've just been very proud today after creating what I think is a pretty neat-o little GPS bike mount. Okay, it's not going to win any design awards, but it's a quick fix to my problem. I wanted a GPS mount for the caching trip I took today, but I didn't want to shell out the major bucks. Besides, it was only going to be temporary. So me and my dad whipped up this little guy just before we left out of a leftover electrical outlet box. My GPS suprisingly stayed in very well, and I could see the screen well from the seat. So waddya think?
