Really, really nice...

Man! you busted me... I am guilty of this "crime" ...I believe it was on this past Jan. 19th.. "Woodrow Wilsons Pit Stop" GC141MF. I did however admit to this in my log for that cache.

I think the same thing everytime I go geocaching...I was stationed in, Italy, Germany and Korea. I would have loved to have been able to cache in Switzerland ( a spot I visited often on short leaves) But back in the 80's we were still in awe over VCR'S LOL!!!

Yep - I feel your pain! I read this and it is like I had written it. I think the secret is to make sure to get her coins she likes along the way, but I may be wrong...its gotten to where I am nervous now when she checks the mail....I cant remember if I have another coin coming in or not. Same here...I actually got a GPS for my wife for christmas as she wanted to start Geocaching as a hobby,....she enjoys it, but it is me who got bit hard by the bug... the past month we have been under 2 feet of snow, but that hasn't stopped me.. found 50 caches so far in the snow.. on our 2nd found cache we found a Geocoin...and that changed everything... if I am not caching,...i am on the net,...looking for coins!.... and I have yet to see a coin I didn't like and wanted!

Only thing in my mailbox today was the Electric Bill....

My family of four (all geocachers) have a wooden nickel we leave in caches we discover. I also use it as my profile and avatar pic. The nickels are printed on both sides, one side have my wife's and my Cacher names, the other has our two sons. It cost me about $160.00 dollars to have 500 of these made and consecutively numbered. We leave the nickels as signature...we also have swag we use if we decide to trade something out of a cache.

Think I found the problem...must be something with the memory card...I took a pic with my cell phone and uploaded it..worked fine..thanks for the help.

Yes, these are the steps I am taking..maybe its just a site glitch tonight...

I upload the pics to my computer and resize them all the way down..but when I try to upload to the page I get "an error has occured" and am directed back to the site home page..I was able to post a pic yesterday for a travel bug,..but not today.. tried again and again. no luck...maybe its the site? i dunno...maybe I should just Log an entry as found and see if I can post a pic then, much like I do when I post a found cache and add a pic to the log.

Ok, I am registering some Travel Bugs, setting up their pages ect. I activated the bugs ect.ect. but I can not seem to get a pic to post on my new travel bugs page. It worked for me yesterday, but no luck today,...so I will ask everyone how they do it..once you activate the bug,,type in its mission and description and submit..it is now activated..but how do you post a display pic to the page for all to see?

My comes from another hobby...sort of. I breed snakes, Corn snakes, Western Hognose, and Ball Pythons. A friend of mine, also in the hobby and much younger than I, nicknamed me old_school because I do things the old way.. such as my incubation methods, making deals with just a handshake and ones word ect. Since old_school was taken here in the caching world, I had to throw on a suffix,... _65,..my birth year!
