  1. I had to archive Max Factor some time ago. That little piece of ground is being turned into a day care center. ========================================================= Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
  2. Y Rhosyn Triongl (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=23433) is within a mile of a Max station in Hillsboro. ========================================================= Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
  3. Here are a couple more (in Oregon): This one... .... and this one. ========================================================= Famous last words--"Ha ha! You stupid drag..."
  4. I would find it useful if I could search for words or terms entered into cache logs. For instance, I have a travel bug that went missing -- someone picked it up but never logged it. I'd like to find out if it has ever been mentioned in the course of another log somewhere. You know, the person who took it didn't realize how to properly log it, but may have mentioned it somewhere else (in a subsequent find). ========================================================= Famous last words--"Ha ha! 5. after going missing last October, it suddenly re-appeared this past weekend. Thought he was a goner for sure. Now if only my other one out in the boonies in Wyoming would get picked up. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  6. So, I also have lost a bug. The one who has it has never returned my repeated emails about what he's done with it. My question is, is it OK to take my spare tag for this bug and resurrect it? ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  7. once met a dork who was completely surprised (and impressed) that I could drive a stick shift. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  8. Thanks so much 1Pilot. Got the TB logged properly. Now if someone will just go visit that cache in the boonies of Wyoming, it might actually go somewhere. Not been found since placement back in October. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  9. Do you still have the Bored of the Rings bug? Please log it and move it along. Thanks much. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  10. my travel bug "Bored of the Rings" that you retrieved back in October from the Mountain-top-cache. If you still have it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, log it and move it along. Thanks. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  11. Invisibility cloaks work pretty well! ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  12. What do you call a cow with two legs? Lean beef! What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef! ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation. [This message was edited by brawdy on November 13, 2002 at 09:45 AM.]
  13. Graduated from high school without a clue (doesn't everybody?). Decided the future looked awfully bleak in Podunk, MN so left for sunny climate of Orlando Florida boot camp! Trained in a field obviously unsuited for later civilian life (how much call is there anyway for hunting submarines?) Traveled a bit (California, Adak Alaska, Wales). Saw a lot; made great friends; met husband. Finally left after politely declining to become a recruiter. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.

  15. check out the Bored of the Rings TB, currently in the Mountain-top-cache. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.

  17. So today I captured a Where's George bill from a local cache (here in Oregon). When I went out to wheresgeorge.com to log it, I discovered there'd only ever been one other log entry for it, way back in May down in San Diego. I was sort of bummed that I could not get an accurate list of where he's been. When you all find a George, do you log him on the wheresgeorge site? 18. right in there with the rest... 41. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  19. It's a two minute bike ride away for one of them; a three minute ride to the next; and a 4 minute ride to the third. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  20. I went to my local Barnes & Noble and picked out a nice spiral bound lined journal. Any book store carries them and you usually can find one with a cover design that fits your personality. Mine's a Celtic knot. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  21. I'd love this feature. It would make it so much quicker to print off a batch of cache pages. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.
  22. My family is lukewarm about it mostly. Daughter (13 yrs) is more of a Nintendo freak than stomping through the woods/ferns/brambles kinda gal. Son (16 yrs) has gone a few times and seemed to enjoy it. Amazingly, he is always most anxious to open up the cache and find some cheap trinket. Husband has never been much of a techno-geek so geocaching is not high on his list of priorities. It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation.

  24. for not checking the geocache website right before I leave. I looked that area over a few weeks ago (probably just before this one was placed) and there was nothing around.
  25. to plant a cache in a far far away county from where you live and just HOPE it will stay put and not wander off? I recently was out on a spit near Tillamook that would have been a great cache location, but since I live in Hillsboro it would be difficult to keep tabs on it. Thoughts?
