I just wanted to thank everyone working on the site for this very usefull feature. It is great for logging lots of caches in a row.

I think that it would really usefull if you could tap "Hints available in Appendex 1" and have it lead you right to the hint. Would this benifit anyone else?

Your subwoffer will sound better if it is not behind the desk.

We went caching today, and noticed that many caches in our area haven't been found since November. Why don't people like winter caching very much? In my opinion, it adds more fun to the adventure.

Does anyone know how to convert all of the waypoints in a .loc file to UTM from Latatude-Longitude.

Imput File-I:\05 (From Card) Format: Magellen SD Files Output File-I:\GPX05 Format: GPX XML When I look at the file on the card, there is no format attached to it like in my other GPX files, Windows just labels it a "file."

We have a find on that cache, it is weird how we couldn't get ours approved.

Thanks a lot for the program, it is really nice, and does accept my file, but the output file can't be used with EasyGPS, it is just a "file" (there is no format specified in Win XP) about double the size of the original. Would you like me to post my original file?

I can't get waypoints from my GPS to my computer with EasyGPS, just the other way around.

Thanks, but I believe that my problem is a bit different because I am not using a USB cable, and I have no trouble transfering waypoints to my GPS.

We got a response similar to Joe's. He also said that would like them before December, but I think it will be OK if we send them in later.

There is a new feature in Backpacker magazine where you must plot out a trail with coordinates, and send the route to the magazine. If it is good, they will publish it. Have any Geocachers done this?

Such as??? Is there any way to use the file directly from a USB card reader, not the GPS unit? I have tried this method with MapSend Topo with no success.

I know that you can't hide Geocaches at Dunes State park (Indiana), but is there any way to get a permit for caching there?

I have a waypoint file that I got from copying my waypoints to from my Magellian Meridian to my SD card. Is there any way to see the waypoints in this file on my computer?

When I send waypoints to my Magellan Meridian it works fine, but when I try to recieve them, it retrieves about 10 waypoints, then gives me the following error message: No data was received from the GPS! (Error #22) You should quit this program and turn your GPS off before proceeding. If you need technical assistance, please visit http://www.easygps.com/support.asp. Details of this error have been logged to... Could you please help me out? I figured I would post here before e-mailing EasyGPS technical support. The information on their web site didn't help me out.

Cool pictures! We saw a bald eagle on our trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnisota this summer.

Will got a waterproof match container, a fake snake can (for a sneaky cache), and a bag of our new signature items (mini carabeaners).

When the GPS reads 15 feet, we just put it down and start hunting for the cache.

Florida is a great place for a vacation. We got to go caching in shorts on Christmas day!
