  1. FWIW, I did want one of the FSM coins, but don't have anything for trade. If someone would be willing to sell me one of theirs, i would be most grateful.

  2. Well, no FSM or geocachingdragon for me.. with luck, some more might go up tomorrow. I at least caught a few celtic arrow and a geocache america coin.

  3. I don't think that they're there yet.

Before 4:00 I checked and there were 47 products. Then there were 51, which are the 3 celtic arrow and the dragon coin ( or so I calculate ).

Havn't seen the dragon yet, just the Geocache America.

  4. If you mean the entries in the "I plan to attend" section, they dissappear after 30 days... I ran into this myself, because I placed a Will Attend more than 30 days before the event, and it poofed before the event actually happened.

  5. Got the newsletter! Monday, 7:00pm EST!

    Guess where I'll be ?!

I'll be still at work, fortunately, because I can use their bandwidth and computers to refresh faster than anyone else. >:P

  6. I activate almost all of the coins I keep because I collect not only the coins, but the icons on my profile. I don't mind people discovering mine and I discovers other peoples' coins too.

    Really, it's just personal preference.

  7. Well, I did it, I bought the Dragonfly coin, this is getting crazy...

I had too, couldn't resist. I watched them sell for $60-$70 on eBay and I jumped on one (at a lower price) when I had the chance.

'Hi, my name is Tim and I'm a geocoin addict.'

The four color dragonfly coins were only available if you buy a set of five coins - one for each color and the fifth having all four. I bought the set a while ago just to get the rainbow one, so now I have four other coins I can use for trades.

  8. I know in the case of Hawai'i Geohana coin, the icon has yet to be decided. It will have its own icon, once one has been selected.

  9. Just wanted to say that I'm so impressed at having seen my order in person. Excellently done!

Though I'm curious... since the price of the coin was about par for its size, were the hinges and special die setup really cheap, or did you just soak the cost of it?

  10. Wow.. I'm so outclassed here... but I'll throw my hat in the ring anyway.

Event version of the coin will be done in copper, with a 'world' version done in silver/nickel. The red lines and the coin images will be raised metal (the cent mark on the coin being filled). Black lines will be black fill, land masses will be in a forest green color, with water being sparkly blue. 'Track at geocaching' and tracking code will be edge text, leaving the obverse for a site-specific design (will maybe to a generic with a place for location etching for those places/organizers that don't want to make their own).
