  1. Not a good (nor typical) week for us Our ISP's upstream had an issue this morning, so cogeo.org was inaccessible to those outside of Bend, Oregon from approx 9:30am til 10:40am. I've added a "Server Events" area to the main cogeo.org page, so if the server "goes down" again and you're curious why, I'll post it there.
  2. Sorry for the downtime, we had a power outage here on Saturday, June 7th, the duration of which exceeded the capacity of several UPS units, one of which was powering the server that cogeo.org is on
  3. I'll get the tracking site looking better soon, priority was to make it functional... glad to see that logs are coming in
  4. Allow users to opt-out of these mailings, please
  5. Hey Nurse Dave, were you and a few other people by any chance eating lunch at Shari's on highway 97 (bend river mall) saturday afternoon, around fourish?
  6. Correct Forum Cache - Cache contains magic dust which gives folks the ability to post messages to the proper forum

That seems to be his answer for every question. "What's the best GPS to buy?" "Pocket Queries will tell you..." My intent is to parody those who answer with "Use pocket queries" whenver anybody suggests the slightest improvement to the site. Oh, and by the way, have you tried pocket queries?
  8. The verification questions may need improvement, its probably possible to find the answers online (although I havn't yet after a quick three minute google... came close though ) Looks like an excellent virtual candidate overall. Cool location!
  9. If the aussie irc server is in austrailia, I'll stick with freenode, thanks My computers have an allergic reaction to getting their packets transmitted over communication satelites.
  10. I miscalculated on a small jump and hurt my ankle.. nothing serious, I walked it off after a few more hours of caching. Hurt like all get-out though. Oh, and I had landed about 15 feet from a 100 foot drop Also did something to my knee while bouldering inside of a cave... took about nine months for it to stop hurting. Yay!
  11. The answer you'll get to the alphabetical order suggestion is "Pocket Queries". Nobody will post agreeing with your idea, they'll just tell you to use pocket queries.

    Use pocket queries.
  13. No options need to be added to the site, just use pocket queries and all your dreams will come true.
  14. The I-5 series of caches stand well together as a series. I don't think this cache should have been archived. From what I know of lazyboy, he *does* travel up and down I5 a lot. Also, I5 isn't a two-lane country road. Rest stops on opposite sides of the freeway take some doing to get to in order. "Too close to an identical cache" makes it sound as though physical caches are going to have to start meeting the virtual cache requirements of being in coffeebook-caliber locations.
  15. I thought geocaching was supposed to be family oriented? Since when is it ok to leave toys such as these in caches? What's next, lube??
  16. Have you tried pocketqueries? They can help with this.
  17. I'm pretty sure that you can do this with pocket queries.
  18. Can't Pocketqueries already do this?? You should all be using Watcher.
  19. of course it will any suggestion for improvement or change to this site has already been addressed by pocketqueries.
  20. You should use pocketqueries it solves all problems
  21. I agree In fact, we should require that cache owners post the physical dimensions of their containers and include a photograph of the container so that we can easily visualize the shape.
  22. Hello, I'm wanting to visit Portmeirion Village, in Wales, however I have no idea where to start so far as obtaining ground transportation. I've gotten as far as finding a flight in to Manchester, but getting from there to Portmeirion isn't as clear of a task. Can anyone offer some advice, or do any of you live close enough to Manchester and want to make a few bucks spending a couple hours transporting a tourist? Thanks in advance!
