  1. Because I wanted to make electronic music to entertain friends, and myself. That's the name I choose and it just kind of stuck.
  2. Yeah I didn't find anything my first time. It happens. You'll start to find more and then when you don't find them it won't even bother you.
  3. Completely agree. My main idea was that they seemed to be about the hiders skill, and not so much the seekers. Maybe when I hide my first cache I should think like a seeker.
  4. Oh cool. While that does help a little, it's just basically a form that doesn't tell you what attributes are assigned to what rating. Thanks for showing me that however, it does give a little insight to how they are rated but not exactly why each numbers are given.
  5. Yeah I just started, and have no plans on quitting during the winter, although I do live in Texas as well. If I were in New York or something it might be a little different. I do in fact think it might change my geocaching hours as it gets colder however.
  6. I'm kinda new at geocaching, I've been doing it about three weeks now and absolutely love it. Getting out of the house and exploring new areas I've never been before is something I think more people need to do. As of today, I have 36 finds, which I think is pretty good. Not to say I'm the best geocacher, but I definitely don't think I'm the worst either. Over the course of the weeks as I've been doing this, I've been learning little tricks and picking things up as I go along, which is great, but I have yet to see a set of standards for difficulty and terrain. I've found 3.5 - 3.5's with relative ease, and over the course of my geocaching experience still have not found a few 1-1's (now I have taken into account the possibility that some of them may have been moved by human's, weather or whatnot. And I know that sometimes finding the micros is harder because, well, they're micro.) but I have yet to see a universal prerequisite that would make something 1 as opposed to 2. Is there anything that says a 1 must be within these parameters, as opposed to a 2 being specific, because as I've seen it so far, it's all subjective? Am I wrong, or is there a page/thread I've not seen that gives guidelines for the different categories?
