  1. I'm 16, started when I was 15. Mother's been going for the same length of time, 49 then and 50 now. And my boyfriend just started this year at 18
  2. I've only been to 3 different events, but they've all been very different in terms of setup. Went to a county geoevent back in June. We met at noon, got passport-type things to mark with stamps from temp caches, and went around to find the temps. 12 temps, with a bonus 13th. However many stamps you got translated into raffle tickets [you could also just buy the raffle tickets]. We ate as a large group, which was awesome, took the event picture, and did the raffle. Fantastic time. 2nd event was GW9 this year. Socialized with cachers and everything, but my mother and I went off separately to find some AGT caches. We met up with other cachers who were in town for GW9 when we went to our caches, but that wasn't sponsored by GW9. We just did it of our own accord. Last event was cacheball the day after GW9. We sat around in a group and talked for a while, then we all played wiffleball. As you can see, basically the only requirement is that cachers get together to interact. Or that's how I look at it.
  3. - A warm knit hat [for when it's cold and to put my hair under so it doesn't get tangled in the brush] - An index card - Half of another index card - A pen with no cap - A pair of good gloves - A pair of sunglasses that actually fits over my real glasses - Two peace sign necklaces from GW9 - Program of events from GW9 - Get to Know Your Cachers from GW9 - Program from Armstrong County Geoevent in June - My GPS - Twenty of my new signature pieces Plus my name tag from ACG is on the outside of the bag. I think it needs cleaned
  4. Depends on who I'm with. With mother, a green Ford Explorer With boyfriend, a white Honda CRV When I get my car soon enough, a white Ford Focus
  5. Around my area, caches aren't frequented as much as some owners would like. So if I revisit a cache I've already seen [because I'm just checking up on it or visiting with a newer cacher], I'll just leave a note, saying all is well and that it was still a fun experience.
  6. Since Geowoodstock, I haven't been able to go caching =[ Mainly due to a friend leaving for boot camp, and a case of Lyme's that went undetected and made my miserable. I'm still recovering from it, and I still can't ride my bike or run like I used to. It's a terrible slump for me =[
  7. My mother and I keep boots in her car, so we can slip them on and get a LOT less muddy.
