  1. well I DOooo have a picture of a vintage caboose... now that you mention it... hmmm.. my attic is FULL of trains... now my geocoin collection... I see a pattern Yes! Yes! I like this idea! I agree. Now with the 3 cars, it almost looks incomplete without a caboose!
  2. Hmmm, tough decision. But, I think I like option 2 better. As a few others stated, I think the proportions look right.
  3. For the feats, you can log the TB number instead of a Waypoint ID!
  4. We are a caching family of 4, and everybody got to pick which one they wanted to keep for their collection. As for the non-trackable, a new cache was recently placed in our area (Melbourne, FL), and it's located near an old indian burial mound. I left my non-trackable as a really cool trade item for the next cacher!
  5. Hey MommyFinder, take a look just below this in my signature! It says The Pay it Forward Mission Coin - has it passed by you yet? That's a link to the coin/TB! I'm so glad everyone is liking this idea, I wish I had more to send out now! Thanks!
  6. Can you post the TB number so anyone who wants to can put a watch on the coin to see when and where it travels?
  7. I agree, especially from the back. Maybe turn the head a little, or something, to keep the whiskers inside the outline of the head. Otherwise, way cool. My 2 cents!
  8. I have a couple of trade addresses. Count me in, too, please!
  9. The LEs have some slightly different colors on the corals, and a silver (or nickel) finish. Oh, and they glow in the dark! i *knew* that they were glow in the dark, just couldn't find a place dark enough in the house to test them out Thanks!! Tee hee!

  11. I think it would look best if the locomotive and tender were proportionately sized -- the result, I suspect, would then drive the decision toward different sizes. exactly... maybe tender- 1.5" engine 2" Sounds good to me! And I LOVE the passenger car, too!
  12. It was never my intention to repeat any 06 cars for 07 Don't you think the tender should be of a different size? Yes, I think the engine and tender should be relatively proportional. So, are you thinking of doing a steam engine set now, and separate 07 4-coin set? I guess I don't understand what exactly will be in the "rolling stock".
  13. I think one of the original thoughts was by repeating the 06 engine and caboose, and adding 2 different cars was, if you already had the 06 set, you could just get the 2 new cars. But, if you weren't able to get the 06 set, you could still get it in 07. Doesn't really matter to me. I have the beautiful copper and bronze 06 complete sets! I'll add just 2 new cars, or buy complete new sets! Either one works for me!
  14. Will the 07 set just be a repeat of the 06 set? Or will it contain all new cars? I guess I was under the impression that the 07 set would be the same engine and caboose as the 06 set, with the addition of 2 different cars. So, if you already have the 06 set, you can just add the 2 new cars each year. If the 07 set will be all new cars, I'd like to see the steam engine and 3 other cars of the same era as the new 07 set. If you have other plans for the 07 set, I vote for the steam engine and tender as a 2 coin set now (in addition to the upcoming 07 4-coin set). Did that make any sense?
  15. These coins are GORGEOUS!! I love the beach and the ocean and scuba diving, and these coins have just become my favorite! Oh, and I got an LE glow-in-the-dark coin, too!!!! Gee, I can't decide if I'll let ToriExplorer have it for her collection, or just be selfish and keep it for mine! She IS a good daughter, but..... Thanks, Karma, for making such a beautiful coin!
  16. I have copper #022 and bronze #015 (yes, I'll put that on the reservation form, just wanted to make a note of it here)! The steam engine looks really cool, might have to order a couple of extra sets, too! I'd prefer 1.75" to match the last set, but I will order the same if you go with 2".
  17. Definitely in for at least a couple!
  18. I'm in for 2 or 3 (depending on the details, of course)!
  19. Avroair said a couple of posts ago that he's emailing those who have logged more than one feat per event or cache. If we're counting points, it only seems fair if we're all counting the same way!
