After looking closer at the bike, I think I'm going to have to do some custom job on this one. I managed to procure a garmin handlebar mount, but doesnt in fact fit around the bar on my bike. I know a guy not too far from me that specializes in carbon fiber molding, I may just have to see what he can dream up for me. Thanks for the help, ya'll!

I just picked up a standard yellow eTrex a week ago, pre-loaded with v3.2 firmware...this is straight from Garmin's website about the changes from v3.0 to v3.3, Changes made from version 3.00 to 3.30: * Corrected RTCM support. * Corrected ability for NMEA support of $HCHDG sentence (Summit only). * Improved WAAS visibility and satellite selection process. so I'm not sure what I have and do not have being stuck somewhere in the middle

i'm looking for a handlbar mount (motorcycle) for a garmin etrex (or if you all have suggestions on mounting a 17" toshiba laptop to my bike, i'm all for that too!) seen a few on ebay, just though i'd check with you good folks first...thanks a bunch!
