Boy the only thing I see you missed was the address for GC.com Nice job Sheesh

It seems to me after reading that thread that the main complaint was A loophole in the system was found and exploited. The main counter-point was that since it’s GW-3 it’s ok. Only an example: I help organize a CITO event every year. I think CITO is even more important than a regular event. Should I use the same loophole to get the event posted early? That seems (to me at least) to be the crux of the argument. Maybe I missed something in those three pages. But it sure looks that way to me.

Circular Mult-cache..has It Ever Been Done?
Harrald replied to gsguru's topic in General geocaching topics
One of the Multis I have placed ends a short flatish walk from the parking coords. If you went back the way you came it would be a few miles down and up again. There is also a couple of great loop hikes in this area that have Multi caches or a string of traditional caches along the loop. -
Congrats!! I am interested on the time, gas and amount of Wawa's that was consumed during the trip to 3000.

Wow, I found that cache. In fact it took two of us over two hours at the final cache location. In fact I was the first person to find it without any help. So you made it easier? Boy, I guess I should have waited. Sheesh

What Purpose Does This Cache Rule Have?

I really hate to do this...but in order to avoid going over this again... Please use the search function for the answer to your question. -

Well done Dan Congrats!

We've all seen (at least those of us that have been here a bit) polls abused here. In fact on most forums that have polls they end up being worthless. If we're really counting, No would be my vote.

I agree, It doesn't take much to type "Thanks for the cache" and a few words. But being polite and gracious is no longer expected in civilized society.

I never thought of it as tacky.......Until now. Hmmmmmmm, Now I need to think on this a bit.

How about contacting Groundspeak? Maybe you can strike a deal for advertising. That way it can be listed on this website. It couldn't hurt to ask.

While we're on the "Forum feature" subject. Is there an option to only see forums you want to see? Quite a bit of forum software has this feature. I don't know if it's in the package you bought. This way you could log in and only see the forums you are interested in. It's not a biggie. But if it's nothing more than a checkbox on your end I would sure like it. *EDIT* It also should have the ability to force your search into only those forums. I know we can exclude and include any forum from a search but this would automate it.

Where Do Members Fees Go? Take 2
Harrald replied to Pantalaimon's topic in General geocaching topics
Since you chose to ignore this post in the other thread you started I'll re-post it for you here. That about sums it up. Do you really think a private company should tell you how it allocates it's income? -
That's the very same question I asked myself when I read the subject and OP of this thread.

If we had a single page I know that I would never look at it again. I only post congrats to people I know. After a few posts about people I've never met I would lose interest quickly. This is just one mans opinion. Yours may be different.

What? If you don't cache in the winter how do you see great things like this.... And I think this was a DNF day too.

Harrald replied to Anton's topic in General geocaching topics
I thought you were talking about Geodining.com. A great place to find food near caches. -
Congrats!! You are a great example of a cool caching family!!!!
