  1. Other than the fact that should be in the travel bug forum..... From the guidelines Use your common sense in most cases. Explosives, fireworks, ammo, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools), drugs, alcohol or other illicit material shouldn't be placed in a cache. As always respect the local laws. Geocaching is a family activity and cache contents should be suitable for all ages. *EDIT* Now I see the light colored font under the picture. In that case this should be in the OT forum since it has nothing to do with Geocaching.
  2. I guess when you searched you missed the thread about this already. Cache Rating System, Rate a cache when you log it!?
  3. Personally, I would have let the find stand. There have been a multi or 2 that I have been able to figure out the final spot without hunting for each stage.
  4. I think this is something your would need to post over here. Since Invision is the company that built the forum software.
  5. That's a rare time to many for me. The only coords I enter now are legs of multis, offset or mystery caches.
  6. Yep, that was when there were only a handful of approvers and the que had maybe 30-40 caches in it. All you had to do was change the last number in the URL until you got to the un-approved ones. It was fun to see all the new caches as they came out. Once people abused it and more people posted caches that couldn't be approved, Groundspeak had to change it.
  7. GC.com has a history in this area. GEOCACHING DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CHINLDREN
  8. This appears just to be a hunter that is upset his hunting area is being used for other legit uses. Sorry chief, but that cache has a permit to use the land also.
  9. In most of the caches that I have placed I have added a few bandaid style bandages. In the years they have been out in the wild I have never found one wet during a maintance trip. They are normally in a small baggie with the log book. I use ammo cans for cache containers so there is little to no problem with wet caches.
  10. This is the second time you have mentioned some sort of "Inside" information. Would you please let us know the source of this information? Quoting information without a source is more like rumor.
  11. I think this persons question has been answered and they refuse to see it. No amount of explanation will help them understand. Also calling you rude wasn't an attack. It was a statement about the way you have been acting. Calling you Bipolar and asking if you missed your meds would have been an insult.
  12. That would be called trolling Because you didn't critique. You attacked. You might want to re-read your comments. They were (and have been) pretty nasty. Like being rude and not seeing that you are being rude?
  13. That line was priceless. And as I noted in another thread of yours. "You need to let this go" and move on.
  14. Shouldn't this be moved to the GPS Units and Software forum?
  15. Heck that was the 75th cache I found and only 8 days after you. I guess my caching has decreased quite a bit since then. Congrats Brian. A well done article about a cache that is exemplary of the way this game was meant to be.
  16. Congrats!! To one of the original cachers in this area. A fellow that has helped making geocaching into what it is around here. Thank you Brian.
  17. What issue? I'm very confused about what it is you're trying to say. Could you be a bit more clear?
  18. Skip those cache then. Some people don't like virts. They don't hunt them Some people don't like Multis. They don't hunt them Some people don't (or can't) want to pay park entrance fees. They don't hunt them.
  19. I have helped arrange 2 CITO events. I have not logged a find/attended log on either. Just notes. But that's just me.
  20. As of 4:49pm EST it's not a MOC.
