  1. It's not a game no more, thats whats up.
  2. You can pretty much bet that these won't be allowed again. <script> has always been blocked and if onclick, etc, was allowed it was an oversight that was fixed. You'll need to find another way to do whatever you were doing. Not a script it is all html. Umm, last time I looked at the spec, all the stuff inside the quotes after a onclick, onmouseover, or whatever, is javascript. What else would you put in the quotes? <img src= "http://img.geocaching.com/cache/93625254-87ba-4347-945b-3a8d725f862d.jpg" onclick= "this.src='http://home.comcast.net/~rbwarren/images/01.gif'" ondblclick= "this.src='http://img.geocaching.com/cache/582538b9-efbe-461f-9080-1ea67187acab.jpg'"> <img src= "http://img.geocaching.com/cache/93625254-87ba-4347-945b-3a8d725f862d.jpg" So these lines of code are not allowed, all it does is call up a img, images that are stored on the geocache web site, nothing harmful in there is there? So the listing was ok for more then a year, then it was disallowed. Java is not even activated when the commands where called on. There in not even the word script in the lines of code. So what damage is this causing?
  3. VSO Image resizer Free Free Free Works great.

  7. Who's cache was it? TIMBERLINE LODGE, Ore. – A pair of climbers who misjudged the weather and got caught in whiteout conditions on Mount Hood were brought to safety Tuesday after a night in a snow cave. The two said they didn't make it to the summit of the 11,239-foot mountain on Monday because the weather closed in when they were at about 10,000 feet. “We thought we had a window in the weather, but we were wrong,” said Justin Votos, 27. His companion was Matthew Pitts, 28. Both are from Portland. They talked to sheriff's deputies and reporters after rescuers led them out of the woods Tuesday. Then they loaded their Jeep Cherokee to drive off the mountain. After running into trouble Monday, the two said, they descended toward Timberline Lodge – which is at 6,000 feet – where they had parked their vehicle, but they missed the lodge. They dug a snow cave at what they estimated was about 5,000 feet. On Tuesday morning, they resumed their descent and came upon a geocache with GPS gear that allowed them to report their location to rescuers via cell phone.
  8. Here was a CITO event that took place where a real pipe bomb was found by a cacher in the group, bomb squad was called in, so beware there is always a chance of finding the real thing. Read through the logs for more info. May not be worthy to be listed on your bookmarks but good to know info. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...=y&decrypt= Here is a small article about it, does don't say our groupe but does say it was found. http://wewwild.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
  9. Check local pawn buy sell and trade shops.
  10. Wow you really have that much, point me to it will you.
  11. I have a page that has 47893 characters with 855 lines of code, if that helps you out.
  12. One of my caches is on that Bookmark List, Amazon Creek Bike Path, I still remeber the e-mail i got the day the bomb squad checked it out, glad they were not knocking on my door.
  13. The public bookmark list is cool, I have all my dnf's in public view, if I do find one that I dnf'ed on, I'll remove it from the list. Not ashamed of my dnf's, maybe it will start a new trend. Finding is not just about the numbers to me, the places you get to see is what it is all about.
  14. Ask them to join you in a hunt, take them to a fun site, not some micro in a back alley, take them to a neat place, like a water fall, somethng that brings out the hunting as a sport and an adverture. Then that picture well tell the story.
  15. Well it should be a rule. A record shows the cache owner possible problems, like was the cache placement difficulty wrong, should have I set it higher? Are the coords too far off? things like that, but thats ok, some out there like to be perfect.
  16. There are a few cachers here that will log a DNF on my caches, and then after found it they edit post and change it to a find, not me, I'm happy to log dnf's, then if I find it I'll log the find seperately.
  17. I think it tracks all logged dnf's, cause out of the 42 I show as logged. 3 are archived 25 I still have not found or returned to. So in reality maybe there is only 25 I have not been able to find.
  18. I have 42 DNF's, so you have top for now, anyone else want to top Miragee #'s 231, come on don't be shy lets see your counts.
  19. If you was keeping track of number of DNF's you have logged how many would you say you have logged. This is only if you truely logged them. So all the stats generators will show how many finds you have but would it not be cool if the generators would also track your DNF's
  20. Here is one of mine that just got published, it's 100% interactive, it's an easy one but this goes to show how one can use html codes to make a puzzle fun. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...5f-41402ddef93b
  21. Add animation with mouseover, done lots of fun puzzles like this one, some easy some hard. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...c3-ddb4818999b3
