  1. Hi everyone, My wife and I are Geocachers from Melbourne, Australia and we'll be living & working in Canada (Vancouver) as of next month. August 17th is International Geocaching Day (in Australia at least) but I haven't seen any events scheduled in BC & I was hoping there will be one so we can meet some local cachers? If anyone knows of any events in or near Vancouver could you please direct me to it? Thanks and hope to meet a few of you on the hunt soon
  2. I'm currently caching with a TomTom Rider V2 on my motorbike to get me parked as close to GZ as possible & my iPhone4 to grab the cache. The iPhone4 has got me over 100 cache finds in a few months but let me down when description or hints won't load, GPS won't settle or when I have no mobile reception (happens more often than not) & can't bring up nearby caches! I'm using a MacBook Pro, so looking for a decent GPSr that is good with paperless caching but will also be easily used with a MacBook (I don't know how to run Macros). Going around the world so will be taking whatever GPSr I buy to cache in all 7 continents! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! AzzAndJadey []
  3. Do you mean when you're looking for a Multi-cache? If so, in the iPhone App, go to 'Navigate to Geocache' Then click on the flag icon in the top right corner of the screen, name it a particular waypoint or GZ, then enter the Latitude & Longitude and click 'Done' in the top right of the screen. This will take you back to the 'Navigate to Geocache' map but now you should see a flag on the map for the new waypoint you just entered. Click on the flag and you will now be navigating to the new waypoint. If you click on the cross hairs icon on the left middle of the screen you can change the focus to 'Navigation Path' to make it easier to get to the new waypoint. You can also use the 'Notepad' in the Geocaching App to save your workings and notes for the individual cache to go paperless & to refer back to anytime. I hope this helps?! AzzAndJadey
