Thought someone here might know this. Is the latin name (but commonly used) for a particular breed of domesticated insect.
-
Nope. More domesticated.
-
-
Not very common nowadays, and mainly in the fringes of Britain - Scotland, Wales & Cornwall. Some say they no longer exist at all.
-
Is one of the Ms Mammal?
Nope.
-
No, they're all year round.
These wake up in spring and mainly sleep in the winter (good idea).
-
All wrong so far.
-
Is this the weather thing? Atlantic Something Mode? I know the heating northern hemisphere after January 19th triggers a wind cycle, thanks to the BBC series Orbit which I've been watching keenly
Nope.
-
OK, waking up this time of year, what do the initials A.M.M. stand for?
-
Thanks for the DING.
Staying on a similar theme:
Which British Prison was built in the early 1800's to hold prisoners from the Napoleonic Wars?
Dartmoor!

No longer supported and no longer works. I know of no alternative and have bought a new (android) phone.
-
That's all I've had with mine, and they've been published without question.
-
I've bitten the bullet and bought an Android phone. I'm using Neongeo and loving it. Similar to geocaching live but so much better.
-
Spotted this one near Redruth.

Slipped over on the way back to the car after placing http://coord.info/GC3M7MA
One fracture in my tibia, multiple fractures of fibula.
2 young children and the dog with me and no phone reception.
Had to wait for a passer by to head for higher ground and phone for help.
Coastguard search and rescue and a paramedic attended and, four hours after my fall, I was hoisted up into a naval helicopter and flown to hospital.
10 weeks off work. At my last fracture clinic appointment I was told to stay off for 4 more weeks, but went back regardless (little choice when you're self employed)
Still not healed, but more x-rays in 3 weeks, hopefully they will show a callus.
-
Sadly it's a temporary fix.
Program will stop working permanently on 15th September.

As a direct consequence of placing http://coord.info/GC3M7MA Slip Crack ****
Explanation on the cache description - involved Coastguard search and rescue, paramedic and RNAS rescue helicopter, plus a 12 day stay in hospital.
-
I use them at work every day as small centrifuge containers. I wouldn't use one as a cache - the lids tend to pop open & the thin strip of plastic holding the lid to the tube is much too fragile.
-
Some people have email clients that only display plain text correctly.
Mine (mutt) is better with plain text, but will display html.
I prefer plain text.

Although the trail is a beautiful walk too.

The URL that is hardcoded into the program is now invalid.
You need to go into Tools -> Settings and add a mapserver with URL:
http://tile.openstreetmap.org/[iNVZ]/[X]/[Y].png
and choose WGS84/Spherical for the projection.
All should then be back to normal.

Still not able to download details of most caches though - this has been broken for months.
Seems to be working now!
Brilliant!
-
But the problem of not being able to download the details of most caches is. This has been a problem for a few months.

That'll do. Actually apis melifera melifera the black european honeybee. Now almost or completely lost to crossbreeding with other subspecies.
So a ding to MTH.
