  1. Well I put it on ebay -- here's the url if you want to bid on it: GPSMap60 Auction http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap60/ It comes with all the stuff... the USB Cable, the CD, the book -- and of course the GPS... it's been used twice... the Instruction book's cover is alittle water damaged (had it on the boat) -- but it's all good. The GPS itself is Flawless. I'll also throw in a copy of Idiot's Guide to Geocaching. It retails for about $299 -- but I'll sell it for $220 or a reasonable offer plus shipping. Please shoot me an email for all inquires, and I'd prefer a Paypal payment if that's okay with you.... send inquiries to: chrisATbeiting.net (replace the AT with @) Or on the board here. If I don't hear something for a few days I'll go ahead and slap it up on eBay. thanks. cb.
  2. Thanks. I found a few... but looks like the area we're staying in has a micro... I am just not real familar with the area... that's all.
  3. I am going to Dale Hollow Lake tomorrow from Cincinnati and I was wondering if anyone knows of any down there... Thanks. cb.
  4. ha ha... no harm to Signal I promise... It was something from college and we'll leave it at that.
  5. Awesome! I am so excited about this... I stumbled across this site after reading an article about it in my local paper. The thought of there being these hidden caches in places that I've been to time and time again is just crazy. It's like a secret society hidden in plain view.
  6. After much reading and thinking, I am deciding on the Garmin GPSMAP 60 -- the new Monochrome one. I'd get the color, but I really can't swing that money $ for something that's still pretty new to me. Does anyone have the new 60? This is my first GPS and it seems to have a lot of features for the price.
  7. I don't know if bringing examples of Places that support the sport will help during the committee meeting, but here's another one. Looks like the Cincinnati area is cool with it. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...05130327/-1/all
  8. It also seems that Kentucky State owned parks are fully aware of Geocaching after doing a quick search on www.kentucky.gov
