I have located a virtual cache and answered the questions required before I can log it. I understand with the holiday weekend everybody is probably catching up today. So how long is an appropriate time to wait for a response before I log it?

With the cost of printer cartridges and paper... can't go wrong with paperless caching. Palm off eBay for $15.50 + GSAK $20 + Cachemate $8 = Priceless hours of geocaching!

Thanks gpsjeep! SMRT took me out for my first caching on Friday and I couldn't figure out why my gps'r was off from his. I should have know it being off, oh say 17 degrees... I had it set to true north. I have since rectified that problem after reading this posting.

Thanks for all the info everyone! I would be wanting to get a unit that I can apply to more the just caching. Probably a wise choice for me to play with some different models that friends have. I need some help figuring which PDA to go with. After reading the boards I know to just start out by going paperless caching. With all the options out there which one should I go with? Pocket PC or Palm system? Is it worth the investment or should I go the cheaper route and snag one off ebay? Which brand holds up? I would mostly be using it for geocaching but loving techno stuff, I will wanna take the most advantage of it. I could also possible use it for work and when I am away for training were I can stay in touch with the wife thru email. I wanna hear the good and bad! I appreciate any input everyone has. Howdy All, I am new to Geocaching world! SMRT is taking me out for the first time this week. His #100 is gonna be my numero uno and what better way then to hunt out the Tribute Plaque. I am running with a Garmin Legend and stalking pda's on ebay as we speak. Figure'd that isn't a bad start. Been able to glean some good info so far off the forums!
