It seems that this question still remains unanswered by the OP, even though they posted several more times in this thread since then. mm Mike always wants to bring up copyright issues in other vendors threads. I really dont know why he does it. There are other threads about copyrights which he could bring this up in if this was an issue. This thread is not about copyrights nor is it about politics. In the US, citizens are given a right, a right to vote to make this country better. To me, voting is a personal choice and I take it very seriously.

I have to agree 100% here with Hula. This is just bad timing pending the other issues. People are upset because they are out many $$$$ and they are trying to get the attention of the person/s who owe them either a refund or coins. Since this is the latest thread, this is where they will come. As others have pointed out, communication is the key. Having orders sit for more than 60 days is unacceptable regardless of who it is.

Email Groundspeak. They can get you the code.

There are people you know which have not shipped coins from back in May. I know people who arent saying anything because they really really want the coin. While they may ship the coin in the future, there is no reason for them to sell a coin from May and not ship it within 4 - 6 weeks. Unless of course they already spent the money and waiting for the next batch of coins to sell, which IMHO, is bad business.

When you go through a middleman, you are allowing the middleman to take the risk if there is a problem. What you have done is cut the middleman out and now asking for help on these forums on how to run your business. Most businesses will have more than one place to source products which can give the best solution for their customers.

The problem is no one can predict when a company will fail. Look at our current stock market. One day all is fine and the next day companies go bankrupt. What I would like to see is something like a delisting notice posted. No comments, just Groundspeak making a statement that xyz company/person is no longer authorized to purchase Trackable Codes from Groundspeak. Some of the companies people are having issues with are still listed on their site.

If I have 20 - 30 mins to kill, I go on ebay and find the cheap 99 cent listing and put in bids. I dont look who sells them, just trying to get a good deal. As for bidding on auctions, I bid on coins I want, regardless who put it up. For example, I saw a delft coin on ebay. It was from someone I know but since I wanted the coin, I put a bid in. I still didnt win as it went for about $20 - $30 more than I was willing to pay at the time. So yes, I bid on cheap coins when I can squeeze out a few extra mins and I buy from friends on ebay when they list a coin I want to add to my collection.

If I were doing something like this, I would do the same thing. When I gave away a coin, End Station, I found out people were setting up Fake Accounts just to get a coin to make trades with others.

My issue with selling activated coins is, it could cause people to raid Geocaches for coins/TBs and start selling them on eBay.
