  1. Thanks Woodstramp, I'll have have a look at that program. Any other glimmers of inspiration as you're a fellow 60csx'er?

  5. Hello all! ok, I'm the newb and I could do with some help relating to the csx60, I know it's been updated to the 62csx but I couldn't justify the further £150.00 I've always spent time in the hills in and around the Cumbrian Lake District but have never owned a GPS unit. I am very experienced with traditional maps and compass, and have just bought the GPSMAP 60Ccsx for Geocaching, although I'm sure through Geocaching, I'll find more uses for unit. Ok, so I get that I can't be "paper less" parse with this device, and I'm slowly making progress with GSAK but it's a steep learning curve. I've found 7 caches and would have bagged my eighth if I'd had a print out of caches with me (lesson learnt). When I use the device, how close to the cache will it get me? I appreciate that cache's might move "slightly" with being replaced, and the hiding party might have an old / inaccurate device? But, how close should I expect to be able to get to the cache. Also, what is the best navigation method? Using the map, using the compass with distance to location, or, some other method I haven't considered yet? Really enjoyed where I've been, seen and cached so far and really feel this could become an obsession! Thanks for your time, and thanks in advance for your replies.
