  3. Gosh, I forgot what I was going to write. Most likely somthing about numbers and I dont care.

Today I retrieved one of my own caches that needs maintenance, and I found one of the dreaded sticker logs. UGH. ( could start a forum about folks too lazy to sign the log and place sticker) . Thing about THIS sticker log is........it came from some very high number folks, and its ON the cache, not the log.

No, Im not going to remove the smiley. They can have it with the other hundreds upon hundreds.

I guess thats all I can say.

  4. Great topic! I used to go to Germany a few times a year before I started geocaching, and flight prices went outer space! Holy cow! Well, anyway its been a few years, I feel the need to go home again. My questions are, can you use the same coords, where the heck do you GET them. I was told by someone I would need some sort of GPS converter, but I think they were joshing. COME ON! Sats are sats!

Can I use my GPS? Where do I go looking for the cache cords. Does it work the same way as in America?

  5. Its already been said, and quite well. For me the best cacher is one that places really cool caches that are well thought out. And a nice person to boot. Found numbers mean nothing to me.

Gotta add, I sure wish folks would post their DNFs.....They DO serve a purpose! I almost always go check on a DNF. Any cacher worth his weight shouldnt be ashamed.

  9. I was surprised.....last year I got a bunch of Geo goodies. Oh well. Im told I can get a new top for my jeep, so I can drive it YEAR round, and my husband bought me this huge kit with some serious cordless power tools, 5 in all, to use on my cache making. Oh yeah, and Im not holding my breath, but as the caching stuff is overflowing the house, my auto, and several other places, hes going to build me a own ceocache room to store all the stuff I have EVERYWHERE to make caches. It will go to GOOD use!

for the bills I can not pay

    donations my way?

  11. Ok, I cant read all the notes here till later, cause my family thinks they need to eat or somthing. BUT, Ill tell you a cute little story. SEe, my toddler LOVES matchbox cars. He has hundreds of them, he MUST. Santa wasnt feeling ANY pain last night, let me tell you. That was some good punch. My head feels better, thanks.

Anyway, so Im looking through my stocking, its always my favorite thing, plenty of room for things like DIAMONDS, right? I dont find any rocks whatsoever:-(, but I DO find a matchbox jeep. Now Santa put more then a few of matchbox vehicles in the younguns' stocking late last night, and its quite possible that he misparked the jeep. That happens , right?

So an hour later, and my husband asks me how I liked what I got in my stocking. What I got was a key, that unlocked a box full of cordless tools for my geocache making desire, which I post on a "what did you get " thread later after I feed these kids.

Hes like, so, um, what else? WEll. the kids tossed in some candy money, why? He sais, wasnt there anything else in there? OH YEAH, there were two small walnut "things"......since Im in a hurry here I cant think of the right word to describe them, ill just call them " more dust collectors", and a jeep matchbox by accident....hehe.

So he sais where the jeep? Well of course I gave it to its rightfull owner, who has now lost it in a sea of paper and ribbons and a gazillion other cars, trucks, tractors, trains.

Anyway, I gotta go check the tri-tip and somthing is burning, so to cut to the chase, that Jeep WAS supposed to be in my stocking. My hubby had taken off the roof to symbolize what I am getting for Christmas, my jeeps soft top is TORN to pieces, can only use it in warm weather.

Gotta run, tummies are getting pe-od at me REALLY bad, they are threatening mutiny if I dont serve food, NOW.
