I ordered my colorado at tigergps and wanted to give it back. They said: you would have to contact Garmin directly for service or repair Garmin said: you will need to speak to the dealer and discuss with them if they are willing to give you a refund. Therefore i had to sell it. It makes me wonder if Garmin will sell a CO in 2009. It was the worst gps-unit i ever had - still beta

now i know, why i had those problems. to hide or show the track on map you have to redraw the map - otherwise it won't work. so you have to zoom in/out otherwise it will not be shown.

Some ADDED updates are really great I hope that the next firmware will also allow a different color management for some screens - e.g. tripcomputer-page (black numbers on white background) to use it on the mountainbike on a sunny day.

i am using at same time - and it works fine: gmaptz.img INTERN -- TimeZone-Map gmapbmap.img INTERN -- DEM default BaseMap gmapprom.img INTERN -- Worldmap4 gmapsupp.img INTERN -- custom map gmapsupp.img EXTERN -- Garmin-Map if you leave the intern maps as default you can put a gmapsupp.img on the µSD, which works also fine (tested) other combinations did not make any sense for me

IT WORKS!!! It always showed Show On Map but it has to show Hide on Map i did it reverse - sorry (user fault) now it works - thank you Wesbo, g-o-cashers

thank you for your picture and your advice. i did: setup>tracks>track log>Record,Do Not Show Track-Manager-track1>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track1>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color) Track-Manager-track2>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track2>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color) Track-Manager-track3>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track3>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color) but if i open the MAP-Screen i see none of the selected tracks. i already did a reinstall of FW 2.2, but it did not make any difference. so i think, i have to wait for FW 2.3 or my unit is broken. I do no more have any trick to see more than 1 tracks on the map at the same time. any ideas?

i did SETUP-TRACKS-TRACK LOG-DO NOT RECORD (was it the wrong setup?) but it is still not visible How to turn off the tracklog ?

i have FW 2.2 and i did exact these things: set color set show on track for all 3 tracks back to map-screen, i do not see these tracks (each in a different color) could you give me a screenshot from the map where i can see 3 tracks in different color at the same time? thank you

I'm not aware of any way to customize the dashboard. You can select from one of three options: automotive, geocaching and default. While these look nice I wish they would add the option of "none" so you could get back the data fields that they eliminate. GO$Rs That was my intend to do so I still cannot believe that the Oregon still cannot show the data black/white (with white background) on the trip-computer-page

Did already anyone try to make an own Dashboard? (background, datafields) (it is the background on the trip-computer-page with the datafields on the top.)
