I would hunt it. But I like it when people give the way point to good parking. It sucks to worry whether or not you can park somewhere and with the gas prices, driving around sucks too. I prefer a small hike, especially when I have my son.

If they're new I would let it slide with a warning. If they have a bazillion finds I would ask how they signed the log to prove they found it.

My dad sent me these on decimal. How do I put them in minutes and seconds? (If thats the normal way to put them so I can plug it into my GPS) I'm still a noob.

Got it, make sure the map file has the file extension after the name (MAPNAME.IMG) lol ... =)

I used to have the option in my card utilities. I bought a new SD card, created new maps, and loaded them on the card but I don't see the option to load a map where it should be. It should be there and when I load my other SD card it's there but nothing with the new card. Any ideas?

Yes I realize that. This light is dropping to about half strength. While I can still toggle through the 3 settings it's maximum strength is barely enough to say it's working properly. I'm wondering if there is another setting somewhere I don't know about.

OK I thought I was crazy at first but now I don't know. The other day my son played with my GPS unattended. I don't mind that because I want him to get the feel for it. When I got it back the light was at about half strength. So I held the power button down and it looked like it went off. Held it down again and it DID go off (it was very dimly lit). So I didn't know what to do. I played with it for a bit and nothing happened so I reset the machine and it came back full strength. Now today I put it in my pocket, pulled it out and it was dim again. Same solution resolved this. Anyone else see this on there's?

I hate rebates. I bought a laptop with a $150.00 rebate which I was told to expect within 8 weeks (2 months). Right at the END of the 2 months they mailed the check which I didn't receive for a few days after that. That's not as bad as what you guys might be going through but it still sucks having to wait 2 months to get my end of the deal. I often pass on the deals that offer rebates and just buy the next cheapest to avoid the rebate. I wonder if this is what companies are trying to accomplish.
