Im pretty new to this also, dont give up there are a few that i still cant find. I only have found 5 but it is just fun to try.

I am glad i bought the 60CS the compas is a nice feature and even though i have it i still carry an magnetic compas in my backpack and have another in my girlfriends backpack, talk bout overkill lol but it never hurts to play it safe when ya play.....

I use topo also and have found it very helpfull in knowing the elevations i will be traversing at any given point.

I keep my manual in my backpack never know when i may need a how to hint.

I have not returned to a cach, only beacause i have allready been there done that and there are about a hundred sites around me cant see me returning to one ive found.

Well have deffinatly had some weird looks while searching. I get kinnda parinoid and spend a lot of time looking over my shoulder, When asked what is going on or what im doing i use the moment to educate about geocaching

Mine is the Garmin Map 60 CS been pretty happy with it although still new to it.
