I've got the Csx and love it (It's water proofer). Only problem I have with it is We use it in follow road and it gets stuck when I switch to off-road mode. Usually have to turn off then on again. Mine last about a week of cache on Lithium battery (choose in menu).

Welcome aboard from a new member also!!. I've been a Scout and a volunteer and professional in the program, BSA. My two cents for this great New hobby, teach the baseline of map and compass to the kids, too! It's like ... I know some kids don't know how to add, subtract, do fractions, etc.; they rely on their calculators!

Mines set for true and we seem to be right on with coords given when finding caches. But good ? Coords are given based on Sats positions around Earth not mag poles. When useing compass, I use "map go to" function and compass then locks to caches coords and points to position of cache (true or mag doesn't matter).
