  1. I definitely agree it should never have come to the US in the first place! I will reach out to the owner-- I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!
  2. Hello! I'm am located in the United States, and I recently found a bug whose goal is to get to Germany. My grandma is not a cacher (and does not want to learn...) but will be traveling from the US to Germany soon. She is willing to carry my bug and deliver it safely to another cacher in Bremerhaven, Germany. Anyone out there who can help?
  3. I just ordered a dog tag online from Amazon, and they did all the engraving for me. It only costs a few dollars. This is the small size-- I will definitely get the larger size next time.
  4. I've found a bug code that has been re-made and neglected because it got wet and is hard to read. I messaged the owner for permission to make a new one-- how would you suggest creating a new one so the code lasts? It seems like ink on paper that have been laminated never last long. I've only seen coins and original bugs other than the paper ones, so I'm open to all ideas!
  5. I recently set a fitness goal to ride a 30-mile trail across a rural part of my state. It's a no brainer that I want to cache along the journey...there are 14 caches along the nature trail route I'm planning. I'm struggling to find a GPS that has caching capabilities and can also track the statistics (speed, duration, elevation change, etc.) of my ride. I've found devices that work for one or the other, and would be willing to carry both if necessary. However, I'd obviously prefer just one. Is anyone familiar with a device that works for both tasks?
  6. I live near a pretty inactive hotel. One of my favorite parts of this game is moving along the trackables-- I want to keep the story going, and I would be bummed if my own TBs got caught in a sleepy hotel! So my question is this-- what is the etiquette for moving along more than 1 TB from the hotel? I've already helped one along. I travel a lot for work and could also help several of the others, but I don't want to feel like a TB theft or hoarder. I've searched forums without much luck for answers. Any advice or opinions are welcome!
  7. I'm still pretty new to the game and have been relying solely on cell service for caching. I've recently started looking into GPS devices-- but there are so many options! I like the idea of paperless and loading caches to a device, but those seem pretty pricey for a newbie. I also like finding caches based on my location-- I travel a lot for work and don't always have time to research caches in nearby areas before my travels. What other methods are available that I'm missing? Any advice and/or strategies are appreciated :) Sincerely, Overwhelmed with options
