My 5 year old son is a geomaster... He finds the "treasure" more than I do. My 7 year old daugther likes to go once in awhile, when the weather is nice and there isn't toooo much hiking. Niether have a gc.com id.

I'll second this suggestion. They are the best basic model GPS in my opinion. I would not buy any unit that didn't have PC connectivity. I will thrid the suggestion... This is the model my fmaily uses. It is simple use and understand. Very durable and the batteries last forever (if you dont use the backlight alot)... Anyways, my two cents.

What about painting it in Photoshop? Is that allowed? I would say no, due to the wording of the challenge...

Okay, so we just finished... It was about a three hour event. The kids had a good time, but the heat got to them by the end... We found three of the four caches. I am pretty sure we were in the spot for the last one, but it just wasn't there. Anyways, thanks for the vote of confidence. Cant wait till next weekend.

Okay, so my wife, two kids and myself are venturing out to find our very first cache... We have four loaded into my new eTrex and are very excited. We have packed a lunch and a camera and are about to leave. Wish us luck. I will have pictures loaded later today... Bob
