  1. Garmin should organise it! I'm in (if i can get off work!). YAY - what a fabulous idea!
  2. Hi SusieQ - i feel your pain....took me ages to learn how to use my GPS - but once you've got it covered, it's easy enough! Then again, I had a girl show me how... I must confess though, much as I LOVE (for me it's about the "chase") geocaching, when it actually comes to "unearthing" a cache - eek! Hate sticking my hands into crevices and underneath rocks cos you never know what'll come crawling out - i know, i know, typical girlie-girl. Which i why I almost never cache alone It's sometimes a dirty messy business....but oh so much fun!
  3. thanks for the tip perdix! I'm definitely going to try that one - would be a fabulous FTF.
  4. Hi all, I'm going to Hogsback for Christmas and just wondered if anyone could recommend any caches in that area. My "search" skills on the site are still lacking, so any help would be appreciated. thanks - Kool Beanz

  7. hi there, i'm kind of new-ish to geocaching and wanted to buy myself a gps for chrismas. i've only been going a-caching with friends and would like to try some on my own. i'd prefer the following criteria in a gps: 1. Easy to use - needs to be very user-friendly as i'm not much of a techie 2. Shouldn't cost an arm and a leg 3. One that'll last a long time - a good quality brand does anyone have any advice? Pretty please? thanks ~ Kool Beanz
