  1. Musta got it at Harmony Computers (oh no he didn't ).
  2. Thanks Thrak...I appreciate it. Still learning the unit and as most men, I'm often loath to pick up the manual.
  3. Hey Miragee, you ROCK!!! That did it. I guess when you do a search by nearest is only shows the nearest 50 or so? But that did do it. Thanks a bunch...I wouldn't have slept at all.
  4. Okay...this is freakin' me out. Both EasyGPS and GSAK are tellin' me that they've sent 496 waypoints to the 60cs. But when I click the find button and check I can actually count only 50 waypoint and/or caches. Is there some setting in my unit that's only allowing my to either show or accept so many waypoints?
  5. NOPE!!! Still only showing around 50 caches!!! What am I doin' wrong? Lemme try this with EasyGPS...see if it's GSAK.
  6. Ahhh...I wonder if I had "Settings" f'ed up...lemme try again.
  7. I did a pocket querry of 500, loaded the gpx into GSAK and sent them to my 60cs. But it only shows about 50. What the heck am I doin'?
  8. Don't know if they're still there but there WERE 60c's for $250 on amazon.
  9. Just got a 60cs and I love it. This after a well discussed snafu with Harmony computers and a eXplorist 600. That and my discontinued Clie PEG-TG50, Cachemate and GSAK...Caches don't have a chance.
  10. Man I hope this all works out for you all who ordered. I'd feel bad if you all got like a 60cs case with no innards.
  11. Man I just bought the 60cs after a not-yet-resolved issue the a eXplorist 600 and Harmony Computers and I can't be more happy. This unit is just about perfect for everything I do. I chose the cs because I mountain bike allot and love the altimeter function. I can assume the c is great if you'll just be caching and driving with it.
  12. Yeah he's a springer...Baker. He's a year and a half now but that pick cracks me up. He's great...love 'im!!! Thanks.
  13. I should be getting my 60cs in the mail today and I'm going to get a case for it but I was wondering if they sell any type of screen protector for these units. Or perhaps there's a universal screen protector I can get. I'd like to keep the screen on this sucker as clean as I can for as long as I can...I'm rough on stuff ya'll. Thanks.
  14. Man I'm hope I helped ya'll out...'specially you Neo Geo. Lemme know how it goes. I would have loved to jump on that but I'm a cyclist and simply NEED an altimeter, otherwise... That's probably around $100 less than I've seen it anywhere else.
  15. Man you can find some Sony Clies for pretty cheap on ebay. I have the PEG-TG50 and it's amazing for EVERYTHING including paperless caching.
  16. There's also a free program that works like a charm called GeoCalc...you can google it easily enough.
  17. Ahhh...yet more eXplorist 600 issues. Boy Magellan dropped the ball on this one.
  18. Thanks so much...that makes this allot easier...I can kinda judge what I'd be looking at now with the Vista considering it has less than half the memory of the 60c.
  19. Well, I know that 20mb would hold about 4 mp3's at a good bitrate, which isn't nearly enough. It'll hold a buttload of word documents which would definitely be enough. But since I have absolutly no idea of how much map area it'll hold, I have no idea if it's going to be enough for me. That's what I'm trying to determine.
  20. Could someone give me a good example of what 24mb of storage would hold regarding maps. I love the idea of the 60cs but I'm thinkin' the Vista C might just do the trick. I live in the DC area and pretty much do all my hiking, biking and caching in the DC/MD/N. Va area (little in the 'Burgh area but I can always switch maps when I make the trek that way). I love the size of the Vista C and I can honestly say I've never seen or read a bad remark about this unit.
  21. Well, I sent mine back to Harmony for a refund. I'm going to get a 60cs which is probably what I should have gotten anyhow. Great to hear yours is working fine though...best of luck.
