I am working my numbers.....but it WILL be a close victory over Darren McFadden. There are some things against Tebow: he is a sophomore (one has never won the Heisman), a SEC player has not won it in over a decade (they may be viewed as a not worthy conference), the Gators have lost 3 games and it has been almost a decade since a 3 loss team has claimed the trophy. On the flip side there is lots of things working for Tebow: he has RUN for more TDs than some winning RUNNING BACKS!, he played against FSU with a broken hand and went 9 of 13, no Div1-A QB has ever run for more TDs in a season, he has accounted for more TDs than McFadden against their common opponents (30-9), he has more rushing TDs than McFadden, he is second in passing efficiency and first in 3rd down conversions. Stay tuned for my vote. GO GATORS!

The election is over. It ended on Tuesday night. I was elected along with mtn-man. I look forward to serving the entire membership of the GGA over the next 3 years.

Most all of the coin vendors have a re-selling program and a good many coin people in these forums have done a re-selling program. I have done one and have made my own coins out of pocket. So we do understand how the program generally works and what the customer gets out of it. Now why I do not know the specific details about the agreement on this coin, I know of other agreements C&P has made on other coins. It is similar to how the other coin vendors re-selling program works. There is no reason this coin at this price should not have an icon, many others have icons and are sold for less than this coin.

I am actually surprised that GS does not have some kind of child protection already in place. Like having a child account linked to an adult account, allowing options where child accounts can not send or receive email through the website or having all emails go through the parent account. My children have accounts on many websites. Most of them have ways to protect the child, ways to link the accounts and ways for the parent to limit account features. Not to mention that this the only website I know that does not have the little box to check saying the account holder is 13 years old or older.

I would hope that any vendor would work with you when you are so close to getting an icon. The numbers only can be bought for about $30, the extra coins can be sold in the store, you can sell some or trade some. Have them made in an extra XLE finish, they will sell. For $9.49 a coin, I would think it would already have an icon.... :)

Who is doing that? I made a nice comment about him and his manners. Yep, my girls can be impatient and not listen and act annoying and all that. All children have their moments. I never said my children were better than any other child. I know when my children are caught red handed for being out of line I apologize for their behavior and then I move on and deal my children. I do not make excuses or act like they are victims in the situation. My children are actual children, in this situation we are talking about a high school teenage boy, who is dealing with adults in an adult world with little to no actual adult supervision. I do not let my children email people and make trades or purchases with me being directly involved.

Yes. But at the same time the parent should not apologize while attempting to portray the child as a victim. It is like saying I know my child is bad BUT you were bad too. I dealt with SofC during the MWGB Chicks project and he was fine during that, very mature and polite. A bit impatient and would not always read all the information in the email I sent, but then again some of the adults did not read the emails! It also was sweet he was buying them for his Mom as a surprise.

This is my first map I have made by myself so hopefully it works.... 2008 GeocoinFest Bid Locations Works great. Nice Job. Is there anyway you could add the approximate locations of GW6 and MWGB? Maybe in a different color? WOW!! I did it. The other MEGA events are YELLOW.

I traded with JnJ for a coin also and he sent me an unactivated coin which I now have activated and I own, the agreement was that I do not sell the coin. I agreed to that. That was my agreement and I know other people also made an agreement with JnJ to not sell his coins. Since BBF traded for an activated coin, it would seem that he should not sell what he does not own. Yes he sent his BBF coin in trade but he also made the agreement to trade for an activated coin that he would not own. I think the bottom line is you should not sell coins that you do not own without explicit permission from the owner of the coin.

I love Columbus Day weekend. Our school has a 4-Day weekend then so we get Friday and Monday off. Also since we are a family of 5 we do not fly places, we drive. It is cheaper to drive than fly with that many people, even with $3/gal gas! So on Thursday we will most likely take the kids out of school half day and head to where ever the event is. If it is PA or TX or IL then that is about 12 or 13 hours for us. Then we can be there all weekend to play and have fun!

I would love to do Hotlanta as well, but I guess I am too far away to put a bid in a serious bid for that site? For an event this size you need to have someone local to do a lot of groundwork for you. Many hands make light work! I would love for it to be in Atlanta too....but I am not sure I have any local help other than me......

We had a geo-event on Saturday and lots of cachers dressed up. We even had a costume contest. Lots of fun!

We are about to get our trackable pins that we ordered for our children. My 10 year old daughter said she will put one in the mail for Nick. The pins have a southern girly theme and are trackable so if he has a geocaching account he can activate it. Our pins should be here within the week so be on look out later this month.
