  1. Just got thru looking at the black friday sales ads Sportsmans warehouse has the 400t selling for 325.00 It says closeout was wondering if Garmin is discontiunig the colorado? Was thinking of getting the wife one for christmas but not if they are not making them any longer. Anyone know or is this a screaming good deal?
  2. It is crazy that those pictures are in the exact same spot if you look at the two trees on the left it is identical! but Red Ruby's is cooler! Especially from the back!
  3. I would like to petition the forest service to change the name of this trail Perhaps to "Road Closed!" Maybe that would deter my lack of judgement
  4. Why would you want to "catch up"? Seems to me that if I had that many hides, there'd always be one I needed to go check on, and that'd cut into my cache hunting time. Life's too short to make everything a contest. It is a joke around here between the two of us. Catch me if you can kind of thing! Very enjoyable! And we don't mind the maintenance, with kiddos you can't always keep the pace anyway. And the hide is almost more fun than the find as a family!
  5. King Boreas has 1,343 Here is the list. Just click on hides to sort by hides. That was quick! Thanks for the information! Very interesting stuff! As one who loves to hide this always interested me if there were others out there! are there any stats for FTF's out of curiosity? I know this can be a touchy subject just wondered if anyone kept track?
  6. I think the only thing more embarrassing than this would have been if you ripped your pants climbing under the fence!! LOL I once ripped my shorts and undies and bottom climbing a tree on a rusty nail. The cache turned out being on the ground
  7. Any and all mostly individual colorados top hider has 205 and I cant seem to catch up
  8. Just wondering if any one has heard of any cache stats kept of hides and finds all i can seem to find is for hides? Maybe you can post your hide numbers here just wondering how we stack up nationaly?

  10. Garmin does not repair specific problems. They will for a flat fee recondition your unit and for a 60 cs it is 150.00
  11. My 60 is in bad shape the screen had a couple of bad sdratches. So on the advice of garmin i tried some novus plastic polish it seemed to take the scratches out but now the screen is dull and very hard to see any ideas?
  12. 18. Hello all! This is my first time in Geocaching forums, but I really need a little help. I am trying to plan a Halloween event in the Denver Metro area and am having a hard time finding a venue. If anyone could suggest some possiblities? I think an indoor venue would be best but I would like the possiblity to be able to go outside to hide a few night caches etc. If anyone has any ideas.....? thank you very much
