Don't care what brand you buy, but if you can afford color - go for it. I purchased a Vista a short while ago when I started caching. My eyes, not being what they once were, have a lot of trouble reading the greyscale screen, particularly in the shade and subdued lighting; and especialy through the clear plastic cover of the carrying case. As soon as I can afford it, I am going to upgrade to a color Garmin Map 60CS. I have had very good results with the Vista, I just have trouble reading the screen under certain circumstances. John

SKYCOP After I download to EasyGPS, I right click each entry; then select "edit waypoint", then type in name over waypoint - Then you know which cache is which . Seems like there should be a better way, but I haven't found it yet - still learning. Hope this helps...... John

Thanks Night Stalker, and every one else who replied - I finally signed up for a Premium Membership this past week; and used the Pocket Query feature today - Worked like a charm ~ just as you said! Slowly I am coming up to (near) speed on all this. Thanks again........... John

First post here & new to this game. Using new Vista & downloaded EasyGPS so I can transfer Waypoints. When they are downloaded to EasyGPS, I get a separate screen for each waypoint; which gives a separate icon on my desktop for each waypoint. Finally started saving them to EasyGPS in program folder to keep down clutter on desktop. I though, (and this is where I always get in trouble), that all the waypoints would be listed on one screen, instead of a separate screen for each. Works great transferring waypoints to GPSr - I would just like to know if I have the EasyGPS set up right; and, if not how to install it correctly Thanks John
