  1. All this paper is a pain but not nearly as bad as looking for a cache that is a multi or 4 star difficulty and not knowing it. I have done both. I have been loading the caches into my GPS using EasyGPS and not using the clues . Sometimes it works out sometimes not. Today I downloaded GSAK onto my laptop. You can use it with Pocket Quaries and have all the details with you and no need for internet connection. you can store up to 1000 caches at once. Not sure how it will work out but it has to be better than nothing.
  2. This weekend I came across a black widow right next to cache in the hiding spot in some bricks. I saw it when I found the cache. I took the cache out (micro) and signed the log. When I went to replaced the cache the spider was hiding otherwise it would have been flat before I left!!!!
  3. 30 finds and 7 DNF one of which I have searched 2 times. All I plan on looking again!
  4. I have the Sport track color. And had the same problem. I bought the junkie cables also. Mine works but I have to plug it in 2 or 3 times to make the drivers pick up. The Magellan communicator will not help you. I have to use: ExpertGPS to send info to my unit. But will only work when you get the cable working. And the settings right. When cable is plugged in try this: Start menu,My computer, then right click in field and select properties. Under Hardware tab select Device manager. In the Device manager go down to ports and open tree. You should see you cable(not GPS) listed as Com2 or Com3. If not you need to check your drivers from Cd again. Try plugging in in and out a couple times. It is a pain to get everything working but once you get it, it is nice just to click button and install.
  5. I have: Nuvi 200 Sporttrack color Both old both work good. One Garmin one Magellan I like them both.
