  1. I've owned my Explorist 600 since last May and STILL I am manually entering my caches. I know, shame on me! COuld someone PLEASE set me straight with this? I'm hardly computer illiterate but I am totally lost with this, even using the instructions. I don't know if it has something to do with converting the files or what. Very simple, detailed help would be great at this point. Thanks!
  2. Thanks alot! Have a great day!
  3. How do I add a link to another site or bug onto my travel bug site?
  4. I cannot figure out how to load cache files onto my GPSr using GSAK and the Magellan Conversion Manager for my 600. I've read other threads here and still cannot get it figured out. I am far from puter illiterate and think that I must be just overlooking something simple. If ANYONE can help me here I would be most grateful. Thanks.
  5. I started with a Magellan Explorist 300. You can find them for around $180. It was an excellent unit but I opted for the 600 bacause of some options that I wanted. The 300 was VERY reliable though and I never missed a cache with it.
  6. When I save Waypoints from the Geocaching site to my puter to upload to my 600 it doesen't recognize the file. Is there any type of conversion software out there that I can/should use to do this?
  7. Just wondering....I've read in these forums that alot of the Magellan GPSr's are known to "boomerang", which I assume means that you end up hiking past where you want to be and then it turns you around. I've had this happen a few times so far but I'm wondering if it's because I'm moving too fast or if it's something all units do occasionally. I have an Explorist 300 but my 600 will be ariving tomorrow. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated by this newbie. Thanks.
  8. Hello, Just wondering how I go about getting a found cache to show up in my profile? I sent an e-mail to the cache owner but I'm not sure if/what else i need to do.
