  1. Good ideas. However, my Magellan eXplorist 500 doesn't have a connector for an external antenna. The GPSr itself will have to be in a position to see the satellites.

  3. When I go walking, hiking or hiking to a cache, I like to track my mileage to see how far I went. In order to get an accurate reading the GPSr has to be in a position to see the satellites. Most GPSrs can't track satellites from inside a pocket. This spring I had an open pocket sewn on the shoulder of one of my shirts. It worked great. To check the accuracy I walked around a quarter mile track four times and the GPSr logged one mile. However, now that winter is here, I need to do something else. Anyone know where I can get a medium weight jacket or a hat with a GPSr pocket? How about any other device to keep my GPSr out in the open while I'm walking? I know that geocachers can be very creative so how about some suggestions?
  4. I print and save all my found caches. I keep them in three ring binders. On every cache page, under the "Send to GPS" button is the state the cache is in. Any chance you could add the state to the "Print Friendly Page"? Bluefeather Los Alamos, NM
  5. I just want to add my vote. I'd like to see the OPTION of printing recent logs (5 or so) on the print friendly page. I always take a printed page with me when I'm looking for a cache. Other than that, I'm happy with the recent improvements to the print friendly page.
  6. I like the new idea of the print friendly page. It looks like something for everyone's style of geocaching. Now, how do I get the hint to decrypt on the printer friendly page? And how do I get some of the latest logs to be on the page?
  7. If you plan to place (or have placed) a puzzle cache check this out. http://nmgeocaching.com/ and look for "Site News 12.15.06" "Puzzle Cache Coordinate Checker". With the puzzle cache coordinate checker link on your puzzle cache page, cachers can check to see if they solved the puzzle correctly before going for the cache. Bluefeather Los Alamos, NM
