  1. How exactly did this start?

Was there an official policy put forth banning caches from National parks there, or did they receive NAs on their hides by other cachers who feel they (as you say), "should be archived"?

There is no official prohibition of geocaching in NP, just no entry distance of five(?) meters from the road under penalty. So yes, some Slovaks received NAs on their hides in NP by one player.

Ignore them. They're doing it for attention and you're giving them what they want. If you stop paying attention to them, they'll get bored and quit.

Currently I'm trying to ignore it. Because if someone tries to delete these logs, he typically within one hour receiv new logs.

  2. What to do with troublemaker?

We have problem with one of Slovaks, which can not "swallow" that caches in their National Park should be archived.

He (we don't know who is it) is creating new nicknames, parodying our nicknames. He is posting NA logs to our caches, with abusive content (for example - "There will be three crosses and you will be in the middle") and copies of discussions about caches in NP - completely unrelated to our caches.

    It takes about three weeks.

Reviewer posted a note (GLDBM09F): "Listing page is not a discussion forum. So please don't use logbook to fight and move your discussion some elsewhere."

    What happened? Nothing.

New NA logs, photos "this is how your grave will look"...

After next week, anonymous accounts were banned by lackey.

Today, there is new nick parodying me, ANWALD94. There is 25 new NA logs on my caches (and it is not only about my caches, see for example GC4CT8Z with four NA logs!

Rebuking did not help, reviewer post did not help, ban from lackeys did not help. So.. What to do?

  3. Im creating listings at the moment.

There is problem with hints type [side of the road] where is the geocache.

If hint is for exapmle [L] pod smrckem, it is okay.

But if hint is [P] pod smrckem, there is only pod smrckem at listing.

  4. About two years ago I tried to help also. You (and me and anybody else) can not help. There is a group of czech translators, this group is full and Groundspeak will not taken new translators, even if it may (looks like) be needed.

Thus if there is not a change since 2012.

  5. So what about this? (sorry for imperfect english)

    Racing-event cache

Racing-event cache is gathering of geocachers held for racing. Teamwork may be required.

    Rules:

Racing-event cache is oriented to outdoor games. Tests, raffles and related activities shouldn't be published like racing-event. Meeting of all participants at the same time isn't required, but each participant should be participate in the race. Using GPS may be required.

    Listing-exaple:

An racing-event cache by player Event Date: 06/26/2011

    Difficulty: stars4.gif Terrain: stars4_5.gif

    Size: not_chosen.gif

At this race you should ride the entire route on bike with two helpers. You start at coordinates (X) and go watter to coordinates (Y). There'll be stage with coordinates of next waypoint. At this waypoint will be control, writes you and you will continue to finish. Team with the fastest time wins.

    Team 2 - 9am

    Team 3 - 10am

Still no conflicting post there, still no response from Groundspeak, so maybe it's time to wake this topic. I think it wouldn't be good if our ideas will be forgotten.

  6. I disagree with the last few posters. I couldn't care less that the Lab Caches aren't included in my stats. The stats page shows the stats of real, full-fledged caches, and the total cache count includes Lab caches. So what? I'm totally fine with it the way it is.

And that's the problem. Lab caches are not full-fledged caches.

Prazskychytrak has found 2006 caches, say profile. Which cache was his number 2000? No one, because he found 7 lab caches.

There is not possible to load it in Geoget.

    But you found it.

    There are two options:

1, full listing at geocaching.com and including in stats (important thing in middle Europe)

2, remove lab caches from "total found" (will not get foundpoint for finding cache).

I'm not sure, if second option will be still attractive for seeking, especially in Czech republic. But maybe it was reason for lab caches there last weekend. Because of the perception of geocaching in another continent.

    Sorry for imperfect english.
