It seemed, from the literature, to be very similar to our Magellan explorist 200 and your description reinforces that impression. It is on sale for 80 bucks for a couple of weeks so now that i feel fairly confident in the accuracy i will go ahead and get it for them. i am half tempted to get one for me as a backup, at that price. a friend has her GPSr in for repairs and is suffering cache jones. The Lowrance iFinder GO is on sale near me and i am tempted to get it for my nephews (to start them geocaching i hope). Has anyone used this company's products and do they take you to the caches ok? Thanks in advance for any info. peter 73 de ad7eu

When I input 98402 for a zip code, the search returned caches about a mile away, and the map showed my home area as 98448, which is in fact several miles further south. I think the Tacoma, WA zip codes might need some adjustment. The search by home coordinates works fine, btw.
