I have the same issue when discovering or dropping a TB. The app logs this always a day early and I can only change that via the website.
This, by the way, is not just a design choice, but also a bug as it logs the wrong date.
Have you tried not just reading the message but 'touching'/'hitting' it?
I have experienced these dots as well, but touching the message and wiping the page/message up and down usually solved the issue.
When I use the app on my iphone to drop a trackable in a cache, it always uses the wrong date. It always logs the drop a day earlier than the actual date.
I cannot edit the date when dropping the trackable, so I guess this is an error in the app.
Anyone else recognize this behaviour?
Is there a fix or solution (other than changing the date afterwards via the website)?
