I did not know Tony personally but did have him move one of my geocoins along. I have enjoyed reading of his adventures/misadventures. Thinking of his family at this time.

I know that there are stores that sell unclaimed luggage left at airports (there is one in the Ottawa area) So I wonder if there is a store that sells unable to be delivered items? Or just what they do with all the stuff that rips out of envelopes and can not be claimed. Did you contact Canada Post and let them know what was missing? They have to have some kind of lost and found but I don't know how that works.

The money aspect is what I don't like. What stops anyone though from charging people money to place a cache by a store, when you tell them it will draw people in? Anyone could take their idea and run with it anywhere in the world. Then what is the next step after that, GC asking for a cut and a new tourist cache icon? I just worry that if people are charging someone to place a cache for them that it is a matter of time before the we are charged to find it. I have yet to find one of these caches, but is sad to read, hear that they are not maintained or stock with low trades when you hear what they charge. Where is the money going they are making? into prizes?

Great canadian provincial geotour! when north is in they can be the great candian northern by-pass geotour. okay doesn't seem so great when seen but sounded good in my head.

I have a migo unactivated fall geocoin, that I may have to part with for the right amount as I would like to go on vaction this summer and need some cash. Also have a spring migo too.

I have a german geocoin 'world of geocaching' it did not come with an activation code. I have been looking and trying to find where I could track it down. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Having trouble setting up coins for adoption is there something I am missing. enter the coin tracking number but the coins can not be found.

They are a beauty of a coin. I have seen many of them now and all who seen them remark on the size and weight. Thanks landsharks for getting the coins to us in time.

If you google you should find links for cable for the gps and palm. I have one and have only used it a few times but it is handy. GPS is magellan and Palm is 505m

Due to a few mishaps this weekend scoping locations did not happen, however mentioned it to other geocachers at a meeting and I think one of them may run with it.

I am in Ottawa and will try to scope out locations this weekend.
